Ill fitting parts, not worth the money
Unfortunately theres gaps in mine, the levels don’t fit together very well at all so the worms keep escaping!I opened a return unfortunately didn’t manage to find a suitable alternative in time to rehouse the worms.Really not worth the money unfortunately.

Quite useful but design could be improved for the worms
Had this worm farm for 4 months and so I’ve been using it for a while now and the worms are still alive! However, the gaps between the levels and the lid at large enough for worms to escape and they do. So be prepared to find dead and dried up worms in your area. It progressively got more wet and stinky which was difficult to elevate, we tried cardboard but it became so sodden that it began to stink. You need to turn the compost over regularly and harvest the worm tea. We also found dead worms in the sump where the worm tea collects as they drown in it. I had to move it from the kitchen in the end and the only way to dry it out was to put it outside with the lid off to let it dry. Not quite as straightforward as it seems but we will persevere and experiment to get the moisture right. Don’t expect miracles.

wurms are escaping and are all over the place next moring
It looks very pretty but not good for indoor (even so it is sold as such) due to escaping worms. I even tried taping it, which either way would have been not a solution as one has to open the lid to put for compost in. Really sad, I really liked the product first.

Not very happy
Didn’t come with worms, seems insanely overpriced for a plastic layered box.

Great for a couple with limited space
We’ve been using ours for around 6 months and we love it. We keep it outside in a sheltered spot.Although we bought an extra tray there is not enough capacity for our veg waste, we’re a family if 3 vegetarians. We’ve ended up buying a hot composter in addition. If I were keeping a wormery inside or on a balcony or patio where space was limited and it would be visible I would definitely choose this model again. If space and aesthetics were less of an issue I would go for a cheaper, larger one.I’ve not seen any worms escape, I think they would only do that if the wormery was too wet or acidic. They liquid for the sump, that my daughter refers to as “magical worm wee” is truly the most amazing plant food. Our council doesn’t collect organic waste so we were looking for a compact composter for an urban environment, with a view to reducing our waste to landfill. I would absolutely recommend a wormery as a great fast composting solution.
