Fully recommended.Grovemade have released a niche line of desk shelving units that are upward of £300 upon receipt here in the UK after import taxes & duties paid. I’ve been searching for a similar alternative ever since. At a third of the price, look no further!I was initially apprehensive seeing as this is the first review of the product, I didn’t have anything to go on. Deciding to bite the bullet, I was pleasantly surprised. A large box arrived with the panels inside that were very well packaged with shipping foam rather than polystyrene. The instructions provided are printed on a A4 booklet, with clear and large diagrams.After unpacking the parts, the build was a breeze and took 45mins approximately.A few tips: try to have a second pair of hands to push down the bottom panel when screwing in the 8 screws to the interior dividers. Without help, ensure you press down with your free hand as you screw in with the other (this may require a little force). The screws will then pull the panel flush, otherwise you’ll have a 2-3mm gap! Try and use your own Allen keys if you can - this will help immensely as the smaller key is under an inch in length.Other than the one small Allen key, I don’t have any gripes whatsoever. I was left with arguably a better looking and more modern monitor stand.THE BOTTOM LINE - As someone who works from home full time, I needed a sleek unit to fit under my monitor that is on a vesa mount to use for storage. Fenge have done an exceptional job in delivering a modern, reasonably priced unit without sacrificing build quality.I can fully recommend this product and confidently say; Grovemade is no longer the standard! Buy it and don’t look back.

Great upgrade to my desk from a DIY shelf that I made. The price for this is great and it definitely looks and feels premium.

I would expect to see this in a high-end Edit Suite or TV Studio. There is nothing flimsy or cheap about this monitor stand. Took me maybe 10 minutes to assemble, all tools provided. It is a high quality product! The parts are top notch, sturdy heavy feet with pre-drilled holes, solid wood shelves, black screws, and laminated wood-effect spots to cover over the screw holes and make it look clean. No chips or scratches or bad packaging, or dodgy screws.I do have two suggestions though! There are teeny rubber feet that stick to the metal legs to stop it sliding around your desk... The sticky pads on the rubber feet aren't sticky enough to stop them coming off if you were to pull or push the shelf with weight on it. The rubber feet will just slide right off. The legs are coated metal (which is great!), but they just don't stick very well. I am going to use WD40 to remove the sticky pads, and then super-glue the feed straight to the metal legs.Also, the middle shelf is the only part that has a closed back. It can be built without that piece of wood being installed (perhaps the manual could suggest this!), and this would give you the option of having cables coming out the back of it. At present, I can store things in there, but not a piece of equipment. Which is a shame as it's bang in the middle of the shelf, which is where I'd like to put my audio interface.Be aware of this when you build it, as you may decide to leave that part out when you build yours. It doesn't affect the strength or integrity of the unit.

Looks good feels solid. Docked a star because one of the four wooden dowel pins provided as part of the assembly kit was only half a dowel pin and so I had to fabricate one as the only option available was to return the whole item.

I have the 108cm version. If you've been looking at desk monitor riser shelves and comparing all the other usual high cost brands, this is a worthy economical contender. It's well engineered, looks nice on the desk, comes with good instructions and they even supply screwdriver and allen keys.For half the price, I would recommend this above the (much)more expensive alternatives.

It is so good for the price on the market, definitely the best and easiest to get!
