I bought this hat for my son, who is very light skinned and has a job that has him outside on all but very rainy/stormy days. We live in Southeastern US and the sun gets pretty strong Spring, Summer, and Fall. He covers up his arms and legs but until we found this hat, his neck was getting sunburned. The hat is adjustable, so even on windy days it stays on. The neck protector works beautifully and he has not had a sunburn on his face or neck (he does apply sunscreen on his face and front of his neck) since he has started wearing the hat.I know that the cleaning instructions say hand wash only, but my front loader washing machine has a Hand Wash option which he has used with cold water, and it really keeps the hat clean. He’s used it for just over a year, and the hat still looks new and is protective. Highly recommend!

If you're sensitive to the sun at all, this is a great buy. I saw the same hat at a retail store for twice the money. I was looking at getting one for my husband.I ordered this one and he loves it. Anytime he is working outside or even just going to the park, he puts it on. Good buy.

I love everything about this hat. Sun coverage is good. It’s lightweight and adjustable so that you can snug it up to just about any head size. The neck strap keeps it from blowing off in the wind. It can be rolled up for easy packing. Simple and effective!

I purchased this for me but it is uncomfortably tight on my 23" circumference head. I also think that the brim is a bit too much for me. However, my spouse loves it and it fits her just fine.

This hat has been wonderful. Even though I put on SPF 100 sunscreen before going out, it was never enough to prevent too much sun and sunburn. This lovely hat takes care of that. It’s also water repellent so no worries in the rain. I’m going to order another one to have a spare on hand.

Fits perfectly lightweight and comfy perfect size.

It's really adjustable, so you can use it when out in the sun SPF 50 also. I loosen up the adjustments then I can put my hearing protection muffs on underneath when mowing.

Keeps sun off the neck as well as face. Has good tie string for keeping it from blowing off.
