They're very strong, just like everyone says. I bought them to hold a small calendar on my fridge, and they're perfect for that. The calendar flips through the months with a metal coil hinge/binder, and through the coil is a thin metal rod with a dent/curve at the center, so that you can hook the curve over a nail to hang the calendar. Well, my first idea was to just hold the calendar in place near the top of the calendar though the paper, but since these magnets are so strong, of course it was attracted to the metal coil and rod. So, as it turned out, all I had to do was just put the magnet strait on the fridge, and then magically put the calendar's thin rod thing directly on the magnet --and it held. Now, to flip to a new month with my calendar, all I have to do is pull off the calendar, flip to the next month, and return the calendar to the magnet --so easy!!! In the past I had to remove four weaker magnets I had holding the calendar. These magnets are so much better!!! I have the rest (five remaining) stacked together, also on my fridge, and they hold a pair of curved embroidery scissors which I keep handy on the fridge, for removing loose threads and cutting off labels of cloth items deep into the seam. Stacking the magnets five deep like that works well to keep the curved pointed tip of the scissors from digging into and scratching the fridge when I remove the scissors from the magnet.So, that wiped out my entire pack of six magnets for those two purposes, but these are such great magnets that I'm contemplating buying more for other uses. I also like how they look so much nicer on my fridge than the big black magnets I used to have, since these ones are smaller and prettier with their shininess. On the fridge, they have a minimal aesthetic, and match well with my other stainless steel "pushpin" magnets. I highly recommend these workhorses which every household needs!!!

These are some extremely strong magnets. I got these to hold my shower curtain in place in our shower as it is made of tin. I’m very happy with this purchase and now my shower curtain isn’t blowing out or in.

I wanted to display a 15" x 6" sign, inside of my pool screen enclosure area, next to the screen door leading out to my fenced-in (dog) area. These magnets were the solution. Using the (provided) "double-sided tape, I taped 3 magnets to the back of the sign and to the magnets, on the inside of the screen. I placed the other 3 magnets on the outside of the screen (no tape).VERY STRONG MAGNETS. Should hold up to most S. Florida winds.

Work okay but I couldn't get the adhesive to stick when I opened the cubboard. I let it set for over 24 hours. It stuck well to non porous surfaces. They are brittle if they fall on tile. Very strong when pulled straight out but of course at an angle, they slide. I think next time I would purchase a different size and see if I could find ones stronger. Seller is excellent, packaging was good, delivery was fast. Excellent for non-porous

The magnets are strong but brittle. One fell on my wooden floor and broke into three pieces.Also the stickems that come with them, are useless. Too weak to keep the magnets from pulling away from the door andmagnetising together. I know no such word don't know how else to describe it. I ended up using Gorilla glue to stick them to each side of the door.

When the temp outside is significantly different from the temp inside my plastic dog door flap would stay open from the temp/pressure difference from inside to outside. I weighted the bottom of the flap a bit with these magnets and now it properly closes everyntime and the magnets are strong enough that they don't fall off or move when the dog goes in or out.

Very strong magnet, holds great, my only complaint is they're fairly brittle, if dropped or too violently snaps each other they can break. Still works though so I guess you just get two smaller magnets with jagged edges.
