This stopper was a last ditch effort after trying one of the hair catcher drains that always came broken. This stopper catches hair and can hold water in the tub. The hair does need to be cleaned out of the stopper regularly every couple weeks or flow of water will be compromised but this is not unexpected due to how well it catches hair.

The product came with a few sizing options and one fit perfectly for our tub. In general it looks nice and functions. However, it collects my wife's hair like crazy and has to be removed from the stopper once or twice a week. Not exactly what I was looking for. If hair did not collect so easily, would give it 5 stars.

I purchased this to replace the original, hard to put back in and adjust stopper and to go with my updated bathroom color scheme. I love that it is a toe-tap. It catches a lot of my long hair (no more flimsy, plastic drain cover) -- just unscrew the pieces to remove the hair, rinse, and pop it back in. It seals very well---I have a jacuzzi-type tub and it holds the water level until I'm ready to get out.
