Incredible gi
As a fat dude, this is the only gi I’ve tried that fit me. Not only did it fit, it fit perfectly. Quality seems amazing beyond pleased with this gi

Favorite gi
This gi is super light, comfortable, and fits well. May not be a great competition gi as the lightness of the gi may be susceptible to tearing, but that's just a thought, I don't truly know of that is true. This is my favorite training gi.

6’5” 205lbs A3L = excellent
I’m 6’5” 205lbs and ordered the A3L, I ran it through a hot water cycle and a hot dry cycle and it came out almost perfect lengthwise, just a liiiitle long in the arms but I have longer legs and pants fit perfectlyVery happy as the standard sizes are too short for me or way too baggy in larger sizes. Plus this gi just feels and looks outstanding, very happy with this purchase

Son just used a few times so far… so far, so good.
They do feel lightweight, but the weave is rough. Fit is appropriate. He is 6’ and 170 lbs with wide shoulders and narrow hips. Will update as they are used more.

Nice Gi, although sizing is off and clownish looking.
Was looking for a lightweight Gi and at 275gsm these guys were tied with the Hyperfly Starlyte at 275 gsm and close to the War Tribe Darkwater at 300gsm. I ordered all 3 and can directly compare them. I'm 5'9" and a muscular 185-190 and was advised to get an A2. A2 fit very well around the shoulders/chest, for an "athletic cut" it wasn't as snug around the midsection as I would have liked. The jacket sleeves were about 2" too short. The foam collar was very decent feeling, although significantly larger than other jackets and a bit irritating on the neck. The pants fit very well, but also were about 2-3" too short. Jacket material was really nice, out of the 3 Gi's I mentioned the Gold had what "felt" as the lightest, although it was a very smooth material and I found it was very easily gripped when rolling. The pants were noted to be 100% ripstop which I prefer for breathe-ability, but they felt stiffer than both the War Tribe and Hyperfly pants.Just for comparison the War Tribe Gi was a bit less stiff, had a nicer collar that wasn't irritating and had a very nice athletic fit that left much less material available to grip. It was also slightly rougher than the Gold so a tiny bit harder to grip. Unfortunately the War Tribe ran small for an A2 in the chest and shoulders. The War Tribe jacket seemed to stay put when rolling more than the Gold or the Hyperfly which both liked to open up a lot.The Hyperfly, although 275 gsm, felt thicker most likely because of the diamond pattern on it. That diamond pattern is slightly irritating on the hands when gripped and I had a couple of rolling partners note this. Fit wasn't great, not athletic cut at all and kind of tented around my chest and shoulders. The pants were superb, easily the best of the 3 and while ripstop pants they also felt and breathed completely like cotton. So why am I returning. Well for one fit, I don't see an A2L option on Amazon, although I'm sure it would be available through them. But a big reason I'm returning is it was very clownish looking, which is a huge shame because it was such a nice Gi. The light blue stitching is very bright and garish and covers pretty much the entire Gi. Even worse the huge "G" patches on the arms and hip are bright yellow, really large and just completely garish. I thought about removing them, but was still left with the loud blue stitching. These issues don't look that bad on the website, but in person it's a very loud Gi. Yes I know the first thought that comes to mind was I should place functionality over looks, but hey it's still ok to look good. But in any event in terms of functionality the War Tribe was the winner in this showdown. In terms of aesthetics both the Hyperfly and War Tribe handily won because they had understated designs without any garish stitching or patches. Suggestion for Gold BJJ, ship the patches separately and give us the choice to apply them. I think pretty much most major Gi companies have at least one stealth and/or blacked out Gi.Gold, if you ever decide to release a plain, matched stitching, minimal or no patch (or blacked out patches) Gi then please email me and I'll be first in line to buy one.

Featherweight yet tough
Excellent all-round gi, definitely lightest out there. I’m a smaller guy (5’8”, 155 lb, size A1L), and after wearing it more than a dozen times, it has stood up to my rolls w/some gorillas. I don’t usu pull guard, so it has been yanked around in stand-up, too. IBJJF approved, so the Aeroweave effectively “trims” at least a 1/2 lb relative to even other lightweight gi for weighing in. Contrary to some online reviews, it has not proven to be harder to break grips from this gi. What more can you ask for?!

Promoted to Blue Belt in this Gi!
I currently own 2 different brands of Gi’s and this is by far my favorite. It’s light weight like one of my Gi’s and it looks really good like my others. The main reason I love this Gi is because it fits (6’2 with long arms). The material is soft and I’m not soaking with sweat after class. My only request would be to use a lighter grey. Outside of that but this Gi the color doesn’t matter you’ll be satisfied.
