I have a 2 questions: 1 does the corduroy collect lint? 2. How do it wash it? By hand or machine?

I have two and thus far, no lint collects on it. I have yet to wash it, but my plan is to plan it by itself in my washing machine in a laundry bag inside-out. I will not dry it in the dryer but on a clothesline. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't use it for that. I don't know the smallest measurement of your laptop but the bag is small. Even if you could put it on its edge you would have at least 4 inches sticking out the top
