Is this one size fits all?

This is a rather small-sized head hat. If you have a smaller head or are bald it might work for you. I'm a female who's wearing it with wet hair in hopes of stretching the band. There is not much elastic in it.

How stiff is the brim? Does it flop around in the wind?

It is fairly stiff. Only wire 3 times so far. Use it as sun hat golfing on blistering days and once on the beach. No issues. I’m sure like any bother it’s gonna weaken with each use or if you wash it.

I wear a size 7 1/2 or 7 5/8 in hats, think new era. i believe this description said the crown width dimension is only 6 1/2 ish inches. would it fit?

No, it is not washable. Label states to wipe clean. My son uses it for his walks and he perspires in hot weather so I’m going to soak it in soapy water and without wringing place in hot sun to dry. Results.??????
