A good alternative for the oem batteries

Several of my smaller tools take 12-volt Milwaukee type batteries, as does an electrically-warmed winter coat that I use, and those Milwaukee batteries are not cheap. I can easily use a couple fully-charged ones in the coat in the course of clearing snow from my long driveway in sub-zero weather, so it’s nice to have a couple spares waiting to switch out.These fit the charger just fine, and seem to power my tools fine, but the problem is a very snug fit in the tools. It is very difficult to remove them, and I doubt that I could do it with gloves on (either work gloves or winter gloves). The genuine Milwaukee battery slides in and out just fine, but these after-market ones are just too tight to remove easily, although it can be done with some effort.As far as power, it’s difficult to do a direct comparison, since my current batteries are several years old. These are 1/3 the price of the genuine article, so if you can live with a struggle to remove them, it might be worth it.
