Can somebody please explain what the word humectant and anti humectant means ?

Hi, humectant in regards to these products is to 'absorb moisture' and anti-humectant is to 'repel moisture'. So if you have a smooth straight blow dried hair and you smooth over the surface with the anti humectant wax and it will add some shine and help repel moisture (stop frizz coming back in damp humid atmospheres) and the humectant would do the same but keep the moisture and smoothness(no frizz) in curls/wavy hair.
