Reallyh works and Good Value
Our 15-year-old Tonk, Ollie, has suffered from plaque, particularly on his front fangs. Every year when taking him in for his yearly jab the vet would play the guilt card and tell us that if we were good owners we would pay them a few hundred quid for them to clean his teeth. After looking into supplementation we started on the Plaque Out regime (all be it originally on the more expensive, poor value market leader). We also changed the vet and after a year of having Plaque Out added to his evening nosh (2 scoops per daily meal) his teeth were clear and the new vet was happy with their condition. Also, the black marking on his front fangs has now gone. One happy Ollie 😺This really does work, this brand is good value and lasts for an age, we are our 2nd tub in just over a year.Do I recommend this, you bet I do.

Retired racing greyhounds tend to have poor dental conditions.
Nothing to add and we are on our third jar of Plaque Out, with which, as I have said, there seem to be evidence of it having worked. Our dog is a retired racing greyhound and that particular breed has a reputation for teeth and gums issues, mainly, as I am told, because they are frequently fed with stewed-up offal type foods (in other words, 'junk'!) and attention to teeth cleaning is a low priority at racing kennels, for obvious reasons. When our bitch retired, she came to us almost immediately and after having been passed on to the Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) presumably by her previous owner. Thankfully, she came in very good condition, but we eventually opted to have her teeth descaled by our vet. That was around three years ago and at each MOT the vet, surprise, surprise, invariably 'recommends' another descale. So far we had desisted, mainly because we are not too keen on general anesthesia unless absolutely essential. Hence our purpose in trying out Plaque Out. I am sure there is a marked dental conditions improvement, although at the last MOT/rabies update, the vet again suggested an eventual descale. I shall leave others to judge and comment upon 'recommendations' for treatments by vets, but for the present we feel that persisting with Plaque Out, which is not inexpensive but not the most, but is the more preferable course of action. We administer the Plaque Out twice daily in the food and initially we had concerns that the dog may turn up its nose at finding/smelling something different. That has never been so and she is still eating with great gusto, her appetite never seemingly diminishing! I have to admit, however, that although I also brush her teeth, that is not an automatic daily routine, but if it were perhaps Plaque Out would be even more efficacious. As a final note, I had hoped to see an improvement in the 'whiteness ' of the teeth, but there is little evidence of that and when I compare with other dogs which have wonderfully white teeth I feel some guilt that perhaps 'our' teeth are not receiving adequate attention. However, she was three years old when she came to us and perhaps recovery from three years of neglect is just too much to expect.

good product
price was so much more competitive for the quantity, good product as most are out there, with the added bonus of a bigger pot for less money

Iy does work.
We have 2 miniature pinschers, a male & a female both about 3 years old and our little guy has been slowly developing a lot of plaque and very bad breath, whereas strangely it is considerably less in our little girl even though they have an identical diet. They only eat home cooked food, chicken, pork, beef with rice and vegetables and any treats they get are natural such as dried meats, no dried biscuits or the like.Hes really not a fan of the vets as is often the way with little dogs so a full tooth cleaning session at the vets would have to be a last resort. We have tried all the dog treats such as Whimzees etc that claim to clean your dogs teeth but with no real noticeable results. We came across this product by chance whilst looking for brewers yeast (which this company also makes) so decided to give it a go, the instructions say it can take weeks to see effects but we have seen definite results within 7 days. The plaque is noticeably reducing and his devil breath has got a bit better so we are confident this stuff works and we are on track to much better breath. Its all natural again, relying on bacteria being produced in the saliva that attacks the plaque and is a result of the seaweed this product contains.Being a supergreen, seaweed has many other benefits for our dogs and requires such a small dose it makes this stuff fantastic value. We bought the smallest size bag as a tester but will be buying a larger quantity soon.It really does work and in our case has had visible results much quicker than estimated so it is highly recommended if your situation is similar to ours.

Pleased with my purchase.
Have used this product for a year, easy to administer with the measuring scoop it has and the amount given lasts for quite a while. Given this and with the combination of using dental wipes has helped to prevent further decay and bad breath.
