I purchased a set of two of these chairs to take to concerts when sitting in lawn seats. They are perfect because they are lightweight to carry around on your back, but very sturdy when sitting in them. The pockets worked great and I couldn't be happier with them.

This is a great chair for the beach, or any other outdoor setting for that matter. The colors are vibrant, and it’s made of the common type of fabric that won’t hold water long. I like how light it is. Carrying it from the parking lot to the beach won’t be as cumbersome as some other chairs I have. As far as price goes, value is in the eye of the beholder. Fair is around $30-40 for me.

Sorry the pictures are taken in the den, 9 days till we hit the beach.I like that this aluminum ROFFT HEAVY DUTY BEACH CHAIR is lighter than a similar design we have made of steel. On my bathroom scale I show 9 LBS for this chair, the steel framed chair, similar size, came in at 12.5 LBS. The lighter weight is appreciated when wearing it to the beach and when packing it in back of the truck.This chair sits about 11" off the ground perfect for me, sit much lower and I may not easily get up, sit up high like a camp chair, you can't really kick back and relax (or nap).I'm 5'10" and 170, this chair was plenty roomy and very comfortable. The support legs sit about 21" wide making the chair stable, not tippy if you bend over for a cold drink. Warning tag on this chair put weight limit at 230 LBS.The seat on this chair is 20" wide, 17" deep with a 25" high back.When folded up to wear the chair is 25" wide by 30" tall. It t has adjustable shoulder straps which for me were just right, keeping the chair about waist level at the bottom.The armrest will adjust the seat back to full upright for reading and checking out the sights, next position is more relaxed, third position might get you dozing and fourth is nap time. There is a fold out aluminum support bar to make this a mini chaise lounge when you're fully reclined, or hang the towel to dry if you're upright.The back of this backpack type chair features a top gear pocket that's 12" wide, 7" tall and 3" deep. Below the gear pocket is your cooler pocket which is 12" wide 8" tall and about 3" deep.The armrests are rounded plastic about 2.5" wide with no sharp aluminum edges to snag you. Standard flimsy, swinging drink holder is installed to the side of the right armrest.The red, white and blue design is somewhat nautical, it's ok, but I would have like the solid BLUE canvas if it were available.
