Wore these for the first time on my bike and wow do they do well at cancelling loud noises out. You can still hear wind in a soft tone and you can hear other cars next to you on the highway, but you get a good dB reduction with these and they're very easy to put in your ear. Other people have said they got theirs stuck in their ear on accident, but I don't see how you can do this if you use the little piece of silicone to put them in. They don't need to go far into your ear to do well at reducing noise.Biggest thing for me was comfort with these. I had tried Decibulz which would scrape against my ear whenever I would take my helmet off, but these have nothing sticking out so you almost forget they're even in your ear when you put your helmet on or off.The carrying case is another nice addition. I keep 2 sets of keys for my bike (1 small one with my ignition and bag key) and the larger one with my house, gas cap, other keys, and now the container. It's very small and doesn't make my larger keychain any more cumbersome while making it easy to access your earplugs. If you don't have a good place to store them, you won't wear them.

I have been using another in-the-ear plug but the removal tabs have broken off, leaving the plug stuck in your ear. These have thicker removal tabs, and if you insert them with the tabs at the top you can remove the earplug easily. Noise reduction is great and really noticeable. I find that I can actually reduce the volume on my music because wind noise is so much less. My new favorite ear plugs!

I am very impressed with the noise reduction these give. I do recommend that you read the instructions before you install them in your ears or you can get them stuck..the handle needs to be in the right position (yes i know from experience , had to have the wife remove with tweezers , was pretty funny)I have had molded , wax and plastic versions these SoftVox are my favorite!!! They just work !!!

Comfy ear buds, and I can hear the difference from the 20db yellow filters and the 25db red filters. At about $8 a pair, I'm glad I didn't buy one of the $40 pairs from another company. So easy to pop in and out - like them better than my more expensive ear buds for shooting. Will buy more when these get lost or wear out!

I bought these as well as foam earplugs. My left ear canal for some reason rejects foam earplugs easily. If I insert these carefully, they work, though at a lower NRR than foam. But if you can't get foam to work, lower NRR is better than none! They are comfortable to wear with a helmet. NOTE: careful that you position the tab correctly so you can easily grab it to remove. I have put them in where the tab is up against part of my ear and it makes it harder to grab, but this is a small annoyance, not a deal breaker.

Rode multiple times with both sets (red and yellow). Noise filtering is effective. Allowed voices to be more intelligible while keeping wind noise low. I wanted to keep using these, HOWEVER, for me, REMOVAL of the plugs has been CHALLENGING on multiple occasions. I found that deliberate orientation in the ear of the removal tab was required to allow for more successful removal, that said, sometimes the orientation would rotate. My final ride with the plugs came as it was required to use tweezers to remove a plug from my ear. I REALLY enjoyed the effectiveness of the noise cancellation and comfort while riding, but I CANNOT continue to use these if removal requires tweezers. On to continue my search...

I was pleasantly surprised on my first ride on my loud Harley. Despite its rather compact size, it was impressively effective. The only downside is it's a bit difficult to find the little tab at times when you try to remove it from your ear canal.

Used them this week during my flight to Vegas and they worked perfectly. So glad I found these

While not perfect, these earplugs are better than name brand ones I purchased at twice the price. They don’t totally remove the wind noise, but reduce it significantly and are far easier to fit than foam plugs. The aluminum container fits nicely on my key chain so I don’t have to fiddle with a pocket at the end of the ride.

The product arrived earlier than the estimated delivery date which is always the case with Amazon. The item will be used during our scheduled trips. No comments yet on the usefulness of the product. This will be updated after we have used the product.

Pretty standard silicone cone earplug design with a filter in the centre.Fortnine said that the design allowed high frequency sounds to pass through. After a few pulls on my 636 with a Racefit exhaust, I can confidently say these reduce all noise. Very comfortable.

I have a good motorcycle helmet, but noise damping is a must on the highway. These are very comfortable for long term use without making your ear canals get sore at all. They dramatically cut down the wind noise and significantly cut down the engine/exhaust noise. The unexpected benefit, however, is how they IMPROVE your ability to hear the vehicles around you, including cars that like to try to sneak into your blind spot. The aluminum screw top case along with a carbinger let me attach it to my pocket zipper, which is not only handy for accessing, but also allows me to close the pocket easily with gloves on and while riding. Given that you receive two sets for this price, it’s an excellent deal.
