InSinkErator45094 Steaming Hot Water Tank 2.5Litre Stainless Steel Touch Screen

This was almost laughably easy to fit as a replacement for an older inksinerator tank and works perfectly. Quite why they needed a touchscreen to control the temperature when a simple old fashioned dial would have done just as well is beyond me, but it works.

I am no electrician so my wife and I replaced our old insinkerator with this new one. The old one went end of life after 5 years and using a kettle for the interim period made us appreciate them even more. I had ordered from another company who only responded when contacted after nothing arrived telling me there were problems with the supplier, over quite an extended period. Looked on Amazon and kicked myself for not checking earlier. Thank you. Great customer service and delivery in short order. Very pleased.

This is our second hot water tank . I was devastated when the first one stopped working after 10 years (didn’t realise how much the family used it daily). Exactly what is required for instant hot water . No kettle required !!

This my third unit in ten years, to be honest I personally would have never have bought the third if it was not for the wife, you can buy a lot of kettles for that type of money. The wife likes the concept so who am I. The problem is that they leak eventually, the first one I examined showed that the joint between the heater electrical element became brittle and crumbled and then leaked, the second which I switch off over night to change the water filter leaked when returned to service on examination the joint between the two half’s of tank was poor plus there was not enough bolts? I sincerely hope this one is much better it looks different with electronic temperature controls which should be an improvement because the other two the plastic manual control was rubbish it disintegrated during the examinations which in reality was no great problem as they were goosed anyway. Fingers crossed. Cannot mark this item up because it’s only been fitted a week, fitting was not a problem although the unit is deeper than the old one and therefore some modifications were required, but no problem.

Simple to fit and does the job required. A vast improvement on the earlier model it has replaced.

We came to own this as the house we bought had one fitted. We got used to it for 5 years and then it broke - going back to a kettle was unbearable! I could get used to living without one but it really does make cooking and tea/coffee making so much easier!

Not sure how I lived before I got one of these. This was a replacement for the one that packed up, but that had lasted us over 4 years, so I wasn't unhappy with its service. Putting the new one in was a cinch, and now we're back in action.

Hot water on demand beats a kettle and cheaper
