Paula Deen Enamel on Steel Stock Pot/Stockpot with Lid, 8 Quart, Garden Rooster

Nothing sticks to this pot. Ours has a little discoloration but that was after burning chillies in it. It's perfect size for big soup batches.

Feel bad for those people that had bad experiences with the pot, and I wish it could be resolved. That been said, I could honestly say I have not had any problem with mine. I bought the first one like 4 years ago in a dipartment store, and I like it so much that I oder a second one 6 weeks a ago. I let one of friends use it for the holidays dinners at his house, and he was so please with that he ordered one for himself. I have used mine over a hundred times during the past 4 years, never had any problems with it, that why I got the second one , and no problems with it either. Hope that all of you the had problems with the pots could resolve it .😔

This colorful Enamel pot is beautiful and big. The chicken design outside is piece of Art. I use this pot to cook drinking water with gentle heat which will prevent Enamel discolor at bottom base inside based on my past experience. So far so good after many uses, have not seen any chip happen like all the other pots I had owned previously. Hope it stays good for long period of time. Thank you!

Purchased this stock pot as a Christmas Gift for my wife. As it was well packaged I decided to not open it prior to the big day and put its value and quality in the lap of the gods. After all, mostly what I purchase from and through Amazon has always exceeded my expectations. Not so today (Christmas Day). As we removed the stock pot from its cardboard bindings, the joy on my wife's face was quickly replaced by a look of disappointment and dismay. "Oh no!", she said, "I hope the sticker comes off!". The sticker she was referring to was the Paula Dean signature label that was affixed to the metal pot. I knew exactally what she was talking about. Prior experience with other enameled and non-porous surfaces where a sticky label was attached resulted in the same disparaging circumstances that were experienced as my wife painstakingly attempted to remove the sticker . . . it didn't come off without residue (see photo). Now, I realize that this remaining mess will likely come off after being soaked in soapy water. But the question remains, was this necessary? Should I have to contend with cleaning the pot even before I use it? Not referring to the inside which we will clean as normally practiced. I would have expected this from Wally World or one of those dollar discount stores . . . not something sold and shipped from Amazon. Reserving any opinion on this pot until it is cleaned and sent on its trial run, hopefully this weekend. If there is even one shred of sticker left affixed, the whole pot will be returned.

The perfect pot for fixing large quantities of food for family get-togethers!

Easy to use for boiling or simmering items in the pot. DO not use with HIGH heat otherwise you might burn the bottom of the pot and it will not work well any more.Learned from experience many years ago!

This is a very good pot for the price, its not the thickest, but for me that great, because pots can be to heavy. i would recommend it

I bought it for its size and shape to replace an enamelled pot that got damaged beyond repair... I made a pot of chili in it right after I seasoned it... and what I used to put into 2 pots fit in the Paula Dean pot well... I believe the steel in my new pot is lighter than my old one... as it stuck worse than in my old pot but cleaned up easily!

I had this item for a month and Enamel is chipping. The size is good but the quality is not worth it. Don't buy this.
