Does ALL of this (including the amp) come in ONE box? I'm asking because I am planning on checking it at the airport for an international flight.

For me, it did. Amp + base. However, the box was not regularly-shaped. Keep that in mind.

What does the bass by itself weigh?

I' am not really sure how much it weighs but it is pretty light for the size of the guitar. I do know it is a lot lighter than my church bass player's 5 string electric bass guitar.
