Rok Lok Universal Quick Change Guitar Strap Lock - Guitar Strap Locks Set - Protect Your Instrument with no modifications or hardware replacement

I've had a set of these for about six months now. They've gone through probably 30 rehearsals and half a dozen gigs in that time, and they've performed flawlessly. I use them primarily on my bass (a G&L Tribute Fallout) on a Levy's basic wide leather strap. They stay in place on the strap and don't really ever need to be tightened. I never bothered with the protector pads on the locks, as this guitar has a poly finish and I don't think it'll ever wear on the guitar anyway. These work great for me because they are EASY to put the strap on (and take it off) but it stays in place. It would be easy to swap the strap to other guitars, but mostly I just use it for the bass as it won't fit in the case with the strap attached. The locks are pretty bulletproof, but I think (as others have mentioned) they are just a *bit* on the expensive side. If they were $10 for the set I'd probably have another 4 pairs of them. If they were $15, I'd probably have at least one more set. As it is at $20, I haven't bit on buying another pair yet. But all that said -- they are well engineered and seem that they will last a long time, so I guess you can't sell a product for too little if you're not likely to sell more when they break. Love the product!

Every now and then a product comes out and you say "Well F'ing DUH! Why didn't I think of this thing?!" Well designed, simple, and it just works, on any standard guitar strap button, on any guitar strap. It makes so much sense rather than screwing with regular straplocks that always come with screws smaller than the stock ones, but the stock ones won't fit in the strap locks so now you have to glue toothpicks into the holes on your brand new guitar to make their Pansie ass little screws work.... Just buy these things and be done with it 30 seconds.

I am very impressed with the Rok-Lok system. I usually use Schaller strap locks, but I recently picked up a new guitar and didn't want to make a bigger hole in it for it to fit. It took me less than two minutes to install. The hardest part was adding the protective bumper to the back, which would've been great if it had been installed on them already. It works and functions excellently; however, I would probably upgrade if they ever made a Chrome one. I think its look is a bit poor compared to other strap lock systems. The ability to have strap locks that I didn't have to use any tools for though I think outweighs the looks for me for now.

Didn't know what to think about these, ordered one set. Whew, what a great idea, super solid strap lock. Had been using those little rubber rings to slip around the endpins, but this is way better, way faster, and you can leave on the strap itself. Just ordered 2 more sets for other guitars. I'm a fan. This is my first Amazon review of anything, BTW.

Perfect! I ended up buying these for all of my guitars. They were inexpensive to purchase and super easy to install. I recommend these to everyone now.

I have three sets of these. I've tried other strap locks, but had problems with the thickness of my guitar straps. These work fine with thicker straps and clip on/off easily. They come with thin rubber stick-on separators so the straplocks don't damage the guitar, which was a concern of mine when I first attached them. A very useful consideration.Edit: Tried to use these on a Gretsch G9230 Resonator without success. They will not fit over the larger strap button on these instruments.

If you arent doing metal guitar swings, these are all you need. Easy to install, easy on and easy off. They work on any strap peg which is an added bonus. No need to get the screwdriver out and possibly damage the guitar ( which I surely would).They hold on tight for any rock and roll dancing around you might be moved to do. I didnt test the legendary guitar spin because i aint doin it.These are great
