I have a corningware p-149 percolator. will this kid fit my basket? without a kid, the coffee grounds are spilling into every cup i pour.

It was too big for mine I think you have to go by the model number and I didn't.

I purchased this lid after going to the site that made my coffee maker. They no longer offered the lid, which I needed for the same problem you are having. I took the info from their site, model number, part number, etc. and plugged into a search engine that then led me to Amazon as a seller of the part. I would suggest you try that route to get the exact lid that your coffee maker uses. Good Luck!

How wide is the basket this lid fits?

It is 3 and 3/4 inches wide, a tad too large for my 12 pot electric Coffee Maker, but I make it work anyway.
