Can you attach it to a standard tripod head? Does it have a tripod screw? Thank you.

This can be attached to a tripod but it wouldn't fit on a standard tripod, you would need a tripod with a 1/4" thread. The ideal tripod for this unit would be the Leica TRI100.

Where can I get an additional battery?

Dont know but got new battery for my Leica Lino ML180 from SCCS surveying equipment, Eaton Socon
