Does it help with mud,snow,dirt prevention for the undercarriage of my truck?

It will help with the buildup of snow and possibly mud. However, it will hold on to little particles of dirt/dust and look dull after a couple weeks. When I wash my jeep, i just hose off the undercarriage with the rinse setting and I'm good. The application should last about six months.

I have found it repels mice. Anyone else?

I had my spark plug wires on my Cadillac eaten by squirrels a couple of years ago. I was told by my mechanic to put a bag of mothballs in the engine compartment. I used tie wraps to secure away from moving parts obviously. I bought the moth balls in a 3 pack from Walmart. It works perfectly. Mice, squirrels, and rodents do not like the odor from mothballs.

Should I sand and use Rust Reformer before applying fluid film or just sand and fluid film?

If the rust is bad enough to need sanding I would paint with a rust inhibitor paint then start using fluid film each spring

Will it interfere with smooth action of my bike chain?

Might attract sand to the chain which would interfere, might be better putting on a pure penetrating oil or transmission fluid.
