I bought one of these in 2019 for my husband for a gift, and it is still very nice, soft and retained it's quality, even after washing in cool water and drying on the lowest possible setting.I came here looking for one exactly like this one to get for myself finally, and at first I thought I would not be able to get the one that is such a beautiful quality! I clicked this image thinking I would be taken back to the exact one I had bought my guy, only to find they have this "sherpa" backing and everyone is upset that when they washed it, it looked awful I don't blame them. I already have a cheap blanket I bought off Amazon before that has a "sherpa" backing... if by sherpa they mean one wash and it looks like a clumpy mess and won't come all the way clean. THIS blanket (with the "minky" backing) AS it was made in 2019 with the very soft plush backing, held up even after washing in cool water and drying on the very lowest possible dryer setting. It is just as beautiful now, four years later as it was when we bought it. I really love it, and am really really hoping the Tusicon is the same quality. Time will tell. I would not recommend clicking on the link for this particular blanket and buying it though, because it now links to a different version that does not appear to be as high of a quality.I am going to buy the Tusicon version, and will let you know what I think after I have washed it. I do NOT recommend the Sherpa backed ones, because they look exactly like the cheap faux fur blanket I am now trying to replace (mine, not the one pictured above) which after ONE wash on cool water and the lowest setting, looked horrible, and never recovered. I am crossing my fingers the Tusicon one is as nice as it looks, and that it is the same quality as this ^^ one that I bought my husband four years ago.

I have now purchased 5 of these blankets. So soft and lightweight. The perfect cuddle/wrap-up blanket on a chilly day or night. They wash easily--JUST DO NOT DRY!!! I can't get my family to understand that, so we have 2 that have gotten wild looking from the heat, but are still usable. Well made, we use three of ours daily and nightly....I have recommended them to friends and family.

I love this blanket I actually got it for my dog because my mom has a fur blanket he loves so much I decided he needed one! It looks great and is even a big nicer than my moms which I believe she paid more for. Ive had it for over a year now and it still looks great!Some bad reviews here for how it comes out when washed, i have multiple items that are faux fur and honestly all faux fur gets gross after being washed. You really need to be careful washing any faux fur and just put it in the washer cold wash only or even just fill up a bucket and hand wash the old school way, then hang out to dry outside on a nice day, if you cant if you have a dryer with an air dry setting you can try that but be very cautious. The fur getting gross from being dried is not fault of the manufacturer that is just how any faux fur gets because it literally will melt together when you have extreme heat. I personally will just wash mine as necessary and then leave outside on the porch to dry, or in the winter i will hang it over my shower rod, turn the fan on and after a few hours ill carefully use a hair dryer (not too hot). I also willl use a boar type brush and just go over it once in a while to fluff it upIm going to buy another one for the living room! They are great quality at a very good price!

I purchased this based on the color (chartruse) and the great reviews. I wasn't disappointed by either. This blanket is so soft and comfortable. It doesn't seem to shed and it has a nice weight to it. The only down side is according to reviewers it shouldn't be washed as it ruins the "fur". I'm taking their advice and never washing it. I think I'll throw it in the dryer with dryer balls and a softner sheet periodically and see if that works to dust it off and fluff it up.

I have 3 of these throws with the minky backing. I got this one, the Queen size, and it has the sherpa backing and is thinner than the throws. The fur is sparse and so is the sherpa side, you can see lines of fabric between rows of fur and also on the sherpa side. It was on sale and is just an extra for my guest room so I'll keep it but won't ever buy it again, nor recommend it. Go for the throws with minky backing if you want a really soft nice blanket, too bad you can't get the same thing in a bed size.

My 13 yr. old granddaughter liked it so much til she claimed it for her room!!! So soft and warm in that "close to the North Pole" climate!

Super soft, you don't want to stop touching it and it's the perfect size. I generally have a problem with traditionally sized throws as they feel incomplete and inadequate. This one is not! It is a little lighter in colour than expected (I got the purple one), but I will cuddle it into myself to watch Netflix anytime! I would highly recommend.
