Got a pair in the mail today. Nowhere does it say "relaxed fit' on the label, just "authentic" and "classic". Should it say relaxed fit?

I ordered a pair of regular fit and one of relaxed. I was happy that they were both good quality and weight. Then a few weeks later I ordered another pair of just relaxed fit. I didn't see relaxed anywhere and I wondered are they the same as the other ones and how would they know which ones at the warehouse to send. I looked inside and out for "relaxed" or "regular" and couldn't find it on any of the three. By feel, the second "relaxed" pair are the same as the first "relaxed" ones. So I'm happy but confused how they keep them sorted. In my case they did. I wish I had the energy to go to walmart or target while I can still return them to see which formula of relaxed I like better. Without a direct compare these are good.

Does the relaxed fit have the “spandex” waist?

No. The relaxed fit does NOT have the spandex waist.

Does the waist run true to size or is it smaller like some other Wrangler jeans?

Waist runs small. Ordered 40/32, it's definitely more like a 38/32

You advertise "big and tall". I found my waist at 44" but tall equals to 40"inseam for me. What gives?

Brian, I'm not sure what you mean that a waist of 44" should equals an inseam of 40". Unless you are 7 feet or taller your inseam should in the 40" range. But if you are in the 6' range then your inseam should be in the 30 to 34" range. Your waist size does not have anything to do with your inseam. You may need to re-measure your inseam. There are links online that will show you how to do it. But if you do have an inseam of 40" you may have to go to a big and tall men shop. Hope this helps.

Looks like Levi's has now discontinued my size 31W x 34L, so thought I'd try Wrangler. Glad I did!The denim fabric is just little less thick than Levi's so I'm finding them a bit cooler to wear in Summer. The quality, color and fit comfort are excellent. Also bought a pair in black, and they seem to hold the color more evenly than Levi's after multiple washings. Wrangler jeans are my new favorites -- as long as they don't discontinue the 31" waist size!
