Is it possible to place a hose of some sort through the drain spout to avoid placing a bowl to collect water?

Thank you for your question! For this model is not possible to attach a drain hose. You can, however, place it right above a floor drain or in a bathtub (make sure the bathtub drain is open and free of any obstructions that could block the water flow) or in a shower stall. Please make sure the Ninja's drain spout is pointed towards the drain and the surface is level.

where is this item manufactured?

I just got mine. Made in Argentina, 2800 rpm. Not sure what is going on. Looks like they’re making changes or something.
