Works well, easy to set up.
I bought these fans for my garage, which I'm converting into a man cave-type area as a gift for my husband. I didn't want anything heavy, and I wanted to be able to move them around to find the best place for them. These were perfect. They're quiet, lightweight, put out a decent amout of air, and are easy to put together. They have a pretty long cord, which is nice. Some people have complained that the cord twists around it and pulls out. This happens because the hanger allows you to just hang it on a hook, where it can turn and get the cord wrapped around. I just used some short zip ties to fasten the hanger so it stays more stationary, and it seems to work. Some people have complained about blades flying out. I haven't had that problem, but my guess is those people didn't realize you have to push the blades all the way in until they snap in place. These are very lightweight and I get why some people think they look cheap. But once they're up there, they look fine for my purposes.

Overpriced disposable fan
It would be nice if someone would manufacture a high-quality fan you can connect to a D/C battery. There's a market for it. Alas, this product isn't it.I was just in the middle of trying to set it up. It worked when I first used the A/C adapter and plugged it into an outlet. Then I tried it using the alligator clamps directly to a 12v D/C battery. Nothing. Tried another battery. Nothing. Tried yey another one. Nothing. Now it won't even work with the outlet. These are the old-fashioned Chinese factory work-station fans from 20 years ago, built cheaply and meant to be easily replaceable when they crap out. It's wasteful, and it doesn't work for us on the US side when the seller's profit margins are so high. In other words, we can't buy them for peanuts and toss them out whenever they quickly burn out. Mine burned out immediately. I was willing to give it a try. I guess I got lucky.Side note: The battery clamps are encased in an overly heavy duty rubber and not spaced far enough apart to connect to a standard deep-cycle battery. You'll have to cut into it. So what were they made for exactly?

Great Idea for those places you don't have ceiling wiring
Great Idea for a room that has no ceiling wiring. It was easy to set up. You must make sure you are screwing it in securely to the ceiling. It is a bit loud when it first turns on, and then just a motor buzz.

Lasted 2 Months/UPDATE...
We didn't expect it to be as small as it was when we got it and we had high doubts of it actually putting out any wind. We were pleasantly surprised at how powerful it was, and living in AZ, we need to run it nonstop. I can only give a 2-star rating because while it was compact and blew out air like no tomorrow...1. The hanger causes a clicking noise on the hook it's hanging from (we had to dampen the annoying noise with a small bit of duct tape) because it really is that powerful and moves on the hook when the fan is spinning, a quick fix with the duct tape, and 2. *Most Importantly: It only lasted two months before it completely died on us. At first, we thought it was the batteries in the remote after someone had possibly turned it off. Changed the batteries and still nothing. It wanted to go, we could hear the motor grinding, it just wouldn't. The motor couldn't handle running it nonstop apparently. A really good buy for the price if you don't need it to run nonstop for months at a time.UPDATE: After leaving my review, the manufacturer immediately contacted me to make things right. I was sent a new fan at no charge and without having to return the broken one (which I am thankful for as I'd already thrown it away). The new one has me sleeping like a baby under nice cooling air. The fan works as advertised and is noiseless and throws out a nice strong wind. I am quite impressed with the company as they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with their product. Thank you Mengnessly for reaching out to this customer and making things right, not many companies care that much these days!

Great little fan!
This is a fantastic fan! I bought this to use in my gazebo and was pleasantly surprised. I like the remote control and options to choose a speed. It's super quiet and puts out a really good airflow! It's perfect for us in the evening so we can sit on the deck. When hanging it from a hook, it does try to twist when you turn it on, but any fan with decent torque is going to do that unless its secured to a mounting surface. I've seen some complain about this... it's physics people, not the product's fault! Also, anyone claiming the blades fly out clearly must not be able to read or follow instructions. The instructions show which way to install the blades and to make sure they "click" into place so they are secure, otherwise "they may fly out during operation". Just pay attention, assemble it correctly and don't blame the product if you can't follow directions!Overall, I'm very impressed with this unit and hoping it lasts a long time. This is way better, and cheaper than other fans I have tried in the past (that also broke in a few weeks). Can't go wrong for the price.

Works great and then doesn't....
Installed easily (make sure to install the blades as shown in the image with the "700mm" facing up) and worked great, moves a ton of air, cools a large outdoor gazebo area and keeps the bugs away. Used it the entire summer of 2024 and then put it away for the winter. Took it out two weeks ago and it no longer works. Replaced the batteries in the remote, the remote LED (bright red) lights up when I press the buttons, but no response. Pressing the physical button does nothing either. Upset because it worked great when it worked, but not sure why a few months in a box in the basement would kill it. There is a blank button on the remote, I wasn't sure if that was for pairing with the fan? But there are no instructions anywhere so not sure if that's required. Will probably purchase a different model for now, but would come back to this fan if I could get more than 5 months out of it...
