A blast from the past
It takes four C batteries, which aren’t as common nowadays so if you want to use rechargeables, it’s another purchase to make if you don’t have any. FM only (no DAB) so another thing along with its looks making it retro. It is lightweight. Easily picked up a good range of radio stations for me, and the Bluetooth function was easy to connect and play music from my iPhone. I like it – I have an original Bakelite radio in the same style and it’s good to have a modern-day version. Currently £27 which won’t break the bank. The sound quality is good too.

This retro FM & Bluetooth Classic Design radio completely exceeded my expectations in every way.
I so love this radio, which reminds me of the "days" when radios were built like this, and of course in those days these types of radios would receive AM (Medium Wave). This modern day version, based on a classic style, receives FM (88 to 108MHZ), with the bonus of being able to switch to BLUETOOTH mode too, so that it acts as an amazing extension speaker system for playing from my phone, tablet or laptop. The internal speakers provide a powerful 5 watts output, and besides the great sound as an FM radio receiver, make outstanding quality when paired in Bluetooth mode to my phone, tablet or laptop. It has a telescopic aerial for fm radio reception, also a mains power pack is included, and it is designed to be portable too, (for those sunny days away from home) by adding 4 x "C" batteries. (Not included).I was amazied at the size of it too, when I first opened the box, I was expecting a small transistor radio, but this "monster" of a quality radio mesaures 13.11 x 3.9 x 9.65 inches, so no wonder the built in speakers provide such a great sound. What Can I Say? An amazing radio, which brings 1960s 1970s style to the technology of today. Thank you for an awesome product from "BYRONSTATICS" which is a total "MUST" for all radio enthusiasts out there who also want to capture the retro style of the 60s and the early 70s.Setting up Bluetooth was just so easy too from my phone, tablet etc, and I have also included the makers original images showing more detail about this wonderful retro style quality radio.

Bit of a let down
It's awful, doesn't tune in properly, move away from radio the signal goes, also it was full of scratches on the side so it's been returned before, other than that it looks really good shame the performance really let's it down, think some of these vine reviews have been buttering our bread,

Radio limitations
I live in an old stone property and cannot get any kind of signal from this radio, absolutely nothing. IT is definitely of no use in a thick stone walled property. Very disappointed in this.
