Took these new boots for a spin up Snowden and a couple of days in the Peak District, comfortable and waterproof in the rain and surface water on paths and ruff grass. They are a little heavier than my old boots but didn’t have any real impact on my walks.

Pretty true to size so far so good. No problems seem to be waterproof and comfortable

Your not going to do any better for £50. Seams are well stitched with proper cotton, soles are dense and should be hard wearing.Grip is spot on and most importantly so far they're waterproof. Material Is quality .Not too heavy and the fit is spot on.Comfortable straight out the box.Used these for a while now, stitching has held up, they're still waterproof but they are hot to wear on a warm day. That's the only negative.

Wore them 5 or 6 times over a month for a 4 mile dog-walk, and they leaked so badly, I doubted there had ever been a waterproofing element to these boots. What's the point of marketing them as waterproof? I wish I'd spent an extra 30 quid and bought my usual Merrell's; I always seem to get a year of dry feet from those, before the membrane gives way. Lesson learned.

I wanted to add my two cents to the rating of these excellent boots. Credit is given where credit is due. I purchased a first pair 14 months ago and have been wearing them daily, walking on the trail 1-2 hours per day, and at the gym 3-4 times a week. These boots have impressed me so much that, in these 14 months, I purchased four more pairs I keep in my closet just because I fear they might eventually be discontinued, as all good things are. After all these months, it started showing signs of wear, although they will still be okay for quite some time, perhaps another year. Overall (quality, looks, comfort, weight, durability, and price), this is a fantastic deal; five stars, hands down.

Worn these on 5 trips totaling over 70 miles with no issues. Very comfortable and plenty of traction. I actually wear these more than my Merrills.
