Great for making animal free dieting jelly!
The media could not be loaded. This is good for making very low calorie vegan dieting jelly. I used 2 heaped teaspoons of this agar agar powder per 2 cups of fluid to get very solid agar jelly. I used 1 cup of apple juice and 1 of water plus some xylitol for sweetness. I added some food coloring to make it more tradiional jelly like. My recipe didn't taste great but thats my recipe, not the agar powder. You should be able to make jelly which cost pennies to make.If you look at the price of low calorie jelly in the shops its pounds. It does have a less elastic and different texture than gelatine, and I did have to boil the mixture to get it to set, but it shouldn't be a problem to get some decent vegan jelly recipes to try. Very pleased with this.
