I have a litter robot but the cats were bringing out the litter on their paws so I needed something to help catch it. This mat is perfect for it. They have a similar one on the litter robot website at almost double the price. This mat catches the majority of the litter that the cats bring out and I can just fold it and dump that litter back in the robot. It is very simple to use, sturdy and well made and I really love having it. Overall, a great purchase at a great price. Highly recommended to deal with loose litter with your litter robot!

I have tried lots of litter mats, and there are better ones out there than this one. There are a few pros though:Pros Lightweight Easy to pick up and dump extra litter back into the litter box Soft material, so if you cats won't use harder litter mats, this could helpCons The material is a very soft thin foam, so if your cats scratch or just leave their claws out, this will get torn up easily Because the material is a soft foam, I am suspect that it will hold up to wet accidents. I think the foam would soak up any urine, which would permanently ruin the mat Price - this is really expensive for what it isIf this was made with a more durable material, or significantly cheaper, I could recommend it, but not as it is.

We've been looking for this kind of "Easy Cleanup" mat to put in front of one of our litter boxes. We appreciate the easy to lift up, fold, and tip-in nature of this mat.The Litter Genie Litter Box Mat arrived folded in half and easy to setup. Sam, one of our cats, immediately "claimed" the mat as his. The material is soft and very light weight. We will have it in front of a box that our cats tend to track a lot of litter out of. The ability to lift it up, fold it, and pour the extra litter back into the box is exactly what we were looking for.5 out of 5 stars from us! Great product so far.

So this litter mat is very lightweight, easy to clean and surprisingly durable. Ribbed design is spot on!Really like how easy it folds to dump pieces back into the litter box. Seems very comfortable to the cats paws also.

Litter Genie Litter Box Mat (grey)1/3/24 Update: I'm reducing my rating to 3 stars because the foam material isn't going to stand up to claws. I noticed dents in the material (from our two cats landing on the mat, neither one is scratching it) about a month and a half after we placed it down.——————This litter box mat weighs almost nothing; I was surprised at how light it was. However, the foam mat fits perfectly in front of our XL stainless steel litter box and it’s working. I tucked an end just under the box and that’s kept it in place for the past two weeks. It’s easy to pull out that end, fold the mat on the crease (it was weirdly folded the wrong way upon arrival, but no harm was done to the mat), and dump the caught litter back into the box or into the trashcan. One of our cats is a chewer (he likes wires, so we use cable sleeves on all our cords), but he hasn’t chewed this mat.The new litter box we’re using with this mat (it’s not a Litter Genie) came with a separate step that was supposed to help catch some of the litter, but both of our cats avoided it. We had hung a brush and dustpan in the closet for easy access because we were sweeping stray litter every day. Removing that step and adding this litter mat made a noticeable difference. The channels in the mat catch and hold the litter.Is this mat better than other litter mats? Maybe not, but the size, the material, and the function of this one is working well for us. Litter Genie Litter Box Mat has a ribbed surface that catches all the litters. Since the foam mat is so lightweight, I can take it outside to dust off the litter…makes cleaning so much easier.
