I have my putty on my desk for people to use when stressed. It has helped me in long meetings.

The stress relief value of this putty is very good. It is not sticky at all. I guess it would depend on the kid, but I think some kids would absolutely love this putty. I think it is definitely fun for kids. Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty can be difficult to open. I always do get them open, though, at least these 4-inch tin kinds. It probably helps to have a little bit longer fingernails to get between the tin and the lid. The size is pretty much perfect. I don't like the smaller ones as much, and the mini ones are barely any putty to play with.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I have issues with skin picking and am trying to find safer ways to occupy the urge. I turned it into a picky pad by adding various beads I bought on Amazon to it. Lots of fun to pick them out the putty provides the right amount of resistance. Prefer it over a real picky pad.

I have been buying Aaron's thinking putty for over a decade. I have 3 sons and we would put it in their christmas stocking every year. We loved it even though the color selection back then was very limited. I bought 2 tins a couple weeks ago to give as gifts. They were delivered quickly but I couldn't believe how light the tins were! I had to investigate further. The first can was gooey on the outside next to the seal. Obviously it had leaked, but only a little. I opened it and was shocked at how small it was (I bought the big size tin). It's about half the amount of putty it used to be and was so hard . So disappointed. Tried to open the other tin and it was also gooey around it where it had also leaked. I tried and my 20 yr old son tried for 15 min to open it but it wouldn't budge. I was giving this to a 5 year old for a gift so she would never be able to open it. Good thing I attempted it first. The 2nd tin also felt really light. I assume there wasn't much in their either. If this product was maybe $7 , I wouldn't expect it to be a large amount of putty but this was $14! I'm sorry but that is ridiculous. They need to work on their packaging and stop being so stingy with the volume. Guess I won't be guy thinking putty again. I returned them both.

So much neater than the messy slime that gets all over and destroys clothing and furniture— this product does not do that!!!! My kids love to roll it into a ball and bounce it!
