This seems a good little door curtain rail. Follow the instructions and it should stay where it's placed. The rail itself is quite large in circumference, so do check that your curtain will thread onto the rail, or use curtain rings or shower hooks.This one is holding up a medium weight door curtain against a UPVC door, and hasn't fallen down so far. It did take a bit of putting up correctly, but following the instructions, it has stayed in place.The curtain is constantly being opened and closed as the door is used a lot. I have, however taken the precaution of putting up a few self adhesive locking hooks to make sure it doesn't fall down, but I'm not sure I needed them!I think you would find it hard to grip if the surface where you want to place it is on wallpaper or a similar surface but it does have a surprisingly good spring inside. And a good price point as well.
