high quality
This cat food is a big hit. The food has some good sized chunks of fish in a thin gravy, it seems like its good quality and my cat eats it up quick. The cans are easy to open and this big pack is great with a bit of variety to last a few weeks.

My cats prefer this over Fancy Feast and that is saying something
I put this food on. a plate next to Fancy Feast and to my surprise, my cats preferred this over the Fancy Feast. So finally the higher quality food wins.

Fish flavors can cat food
My cat likes wet food. I give her some every evening . She likes fish flavors. These are all combination of different fish types and di have a lot of gravy and that is a plus for her. Kind of pricey but none goes to waste.

Great cat food
The first wet food my cat actually fully liked, it definitely gets the seal of approval. I like that it's all natural and grain free, it's a good size for an adult cats meal and doesn't reek or anything, very good cat food.

Fussy Cats Prefer Applause
My cat is weird and likes Dr Marty's freeze-dried Raw meals. But she will eat some wet food but it has to be Applause Natural in Gravy. Preferably fish variety. Not broth but gravy. I have tried all the most expensive and best wet natural brands and this is it.

Pricey
This cat food is not unlike opening a can of tuna. The gravy is just a little thicker than the water in a can of tuna. Considering that the price of this cat food is almost $2 a (small) can, the tuna (which has about the same amount of ingredients compared to the cat food, maybe less) would be a better value. On the plus side, all 3 of our cats do like the taste. One only cares for the gravy, but she's that way with almost all wet cat food, so that doesn't really mean much.

Clean ingredient list !
I decided to order this 24 pack because some of my kitty-loving friends have been raving about the Applaws brand of cat food and I thought it was worth a try. I have 2 finicky felines who eat very little wet food. My vet, who is a feline specialist, recommended that I keep trying to add some wet food to their diets, but that is much easier said than done!I was impressed with the limited and natural list of ingredients of all of these flavors of wet cat food. I also like how brothy they are, because my kitties generally seem to prefer the liquid broths or sauces in wet food more than the actual pieces of meat or fish.I've given them a few cans of the food and the results are mixed. At times, one or both of them will eat some of it, and at other times, one or both of them won't do more than give it a sniff! But that is par for the course with my kitties, and I'm willing to keep putting out wet food from time to time since my vet says it's good for them. It's important to note that these cans do not contain complete meals for your kitty, and the company recommends supplementing the wet food with their brand of dry food. IMO, the food is pricey for what it is (and is not). There are other premium brands of food toppers or appetizers that come in smaller portions for lower costs that I prefer because even when tmy kitties are willing to eat wet food, they only eat a small amount of it, and most of this 2.4 oz. can ends up going to waste.
