Wash your hair with Hennaplus Natural Shampoo (not with a 2 in 1 shampoo). Dry your hair with a towel and comb or brush it. Put the contents (or 1/2 the contents in case of short hair) of the sachet of powder in a bowl and add boiling water, stirring continuously until a creamy paste is formed. Add vinegar (for extra shine) or lemon juice (for lightening). The paste must be as hot as possible when applied. Apply some Hennaplus Hairwonder Hair Repair Hairmask or Hair Repair Cream to the hairline to prevent staining of the skin. Use plastic gloves and divide the mixture into the hair: begin at the neck and work slowly upwards lock by lock, spreading the mixture thoroughly over the whole length of the hair. Use a comb to make easy partings and apply the warm henna paste lock by lock with the brush. First apply lock by lock, then spread the remaining mixture evenly over all your hair. See that all the hair is covered with the henna paste which should be as hot as possible. Now cover the hair with aluminium foil. If desired, wrap a warm towel around the hair to maintain the heat. Rinse out the Colour Powder with lots of lukewarm water and wash with Hennaplus Natural Shampoo. Tip: Use a small amount of Hairwonder Hair Repair Cream daily on dry or towel-dried hair. great product, does what it says on the box
I have been using henna products on my hair for many years and for the first time it actually does what it says on the box, very pleased and I have already purchased more, excellent product, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Not as expected
Compared to the picture on the box (which you cannot ever go by, I know) and the fact the product says it doesn't lighten your hair - I started with a faded dark red/ my natural dark brown colour and when I put this on (I left it on for an hour going by the provided chart) I turned strawberry blonde! It lightened my hair considerably and I was expecting it just to replace the dark red that had started to fade.I do have fine hair and it did give me some volume, though!

Doesn't really do much - chose a better brand
Dilute colouring. I have been using henna for 30 years to dye my hair red/mahogany and this dye is very dilute compared go other brands. Left on for over 1 hour and vaguely dyed my mousy brown hair but no staining/dying of my skin/scalp. I have used henne dye for many years but couldnt get hold of it for the past 6 months so tried this but nowhere near the strength of henne colouring. (May be an odd review to say doesn't dye skin or scalp, but usually henne so strong that if drops fall on your arms or face then end up with an orange stain - does wear off, but at least shows it is doing something. Don't waste your cash on this - buy henne brand. Also henne leaves my hair shiny and glossy with no conditioner but after rinsing off this dye and shampooing my hair was a mess of tangles - does not condition as too dilute a henna.

Great henna dye
I have tried other henna dyes that were too gritty (not finely ground) and therefore would not stay in the hair/stick to the hair. That is not a problem with this product. It was a fine-ground powder that easily coated and soaked into my hair. It covered the grays well and came out a believable, mild red (not too orange). I am really pleased with this product and will definitely use it again.

Cheap and nasty
I was looking for an alternative to Daniel Field. This stuff didn't even touch my dark blonde hair colour after two hours wearing it after following instructions to the letter. It also left my hair dry which is really odd for henna. I would seriously avoid this in future.

Auburn no longer seems to work and brown is weak as well.
This product appears to have become much weaker and more expensive over the last couple of years. Probably not worth buying again.

Great product.
Fed up with using permanent hair that left hair dry and brittle. Thought I'd try henna again.Probably last used twenty years ago. After using this product wondered why it took me so long.Hair feels fabulous and the colour is a gorgeous copper red. Covers all grey well. Will never go back to those awful chemical cocktails. Great product and very good value, application brush included too.
