8 Rung Combi All-in-One Extension Ladder, Step Ladder & Free Standing Ladders

Product works okay

Just what I needed to reach the top of a high hedge. A very well made Combi All-In-One Extension Ladder, robust, and no sharp edges. I am very pleased with this product.

This is a good ladder for the price. I purchased this to use when painting stair cases. A couple of things that are worth noting: 1. The ladder stabilizing bar was to wide for stairs that I was working on, I discovered this when I took the ladder on a job. The bar is 32" wide. 2. The rungs are not very wide, just under 1", so standing on the ladder for any length of time will not be comfortable on the feet. On the positive side of things, the ladder is light and yet strong enough for me to use confidently. One of the sections can be removed so it can be used as a double or steps if required. I bought the 8 rung version so that I would have no problem storing it. When closed it stands at 7'6", it just fits in my store.I have only used the ladder once so far, so I can't offer any other useful comments.

I have recently purchased two of these from Access solutions, direct from their online shop, and have used and use several ladders and ladder typesover the years so have something to compare these with.I was delighted by the first set (12 rung model), which I intended for outside us. This is of solid construction, and very stable, helped with claimed safety features such as metal strap/brace in addition to the usual fabric, wide base, and rung locks, and a very wide base ladder.On the strenght of this I purchased the 8 rung model. more suitable for indoor use (with average ceiling heights). This arrived with most of the rungs on the outer section damaged, which may be a courier failing. However I was even more dissappointed to discover the guage of aluminium used and cross section was much reduced compared with the 12 rung model. In fact it is one of the lightest ladders I have encountered - not good depending on the user's weight and intended use. This was a surprise, as t I had taken the trouble to check with "Sales" before ordering that all models were of the same guage and standard of construction, and was assured the only difference was number of rungs. When reporting the damage, I expressed my concern and I pointed out the second set (8 rung model) seemed less robust as lighter guage material seems to have been used and sides are a smaller cross-section .... "not possible" I was told. However the differnce is measurable and the 8 rung model seems less robust than the big brother.Whilst Sales staff have been helpful, I am left wondering whether I have received a non-standard (sub-standard) product from the companies perpetual "clearance" sale. Sellers response would be of interest, as it could help to allay suspicions or put my mind at rest when working a few feet off the ground with more weight on me than I suspect can be safely carried on what I hope is not my last rung! Lighter may not mean inferior, but In my view the difference should be clear in the product description, and sales staff should be better informed on their own product.

I needed a ladder to cut my hedge.The ladder feells sturdy and has little catches which lock it in place.I am very pleased with the quality and service.

Great item but had a few dents on them when they arrive. Nothing major four stars
