Hinge is ok, but let down by rubbish screws supplied, had to use screws I had which made the fitting much easier.

Pleased with the product

I bought 2 of these for jobs I was working on for my daughter where the hinges were likely to get wet or splashed from time to time. Ours came in a bag labelled Chrome plated which cause a slight concern but they are clearly stainless steel. There screws supplied were decent and not the soft rubbish sometimes supplied and ours went into pine, plywood and GRP and held no problems with no burring of heads, breaks or bends. As another reviewer stated, the countersink is smaller than the screw head so the screws are not flush but we found this was not so big an issue to prevent the hinge leaves from being parallel as the knuckles with the pin going through are thicker than the sum of the 2 leaves. In our application the hinge will only be opened briefly and even then difficult to see so the heads not being flush is not an issue. If our application meant they were to be open a significant period and very visible or likely to have something catch on them then I would agree this could be a problem. I'm not convinced making the countersink bigger would enable them to be completely flush. I would definitely buy again taking into consideration the above for the intended application as they represent good value for money. Dropped a star though for the potential issue of not being so good in some applications for the above reason.
