Yes. My brother in law is a professional welder. I had him look at it and he said it could.

I do not know that answer. I modified it to mount in a Ford Flex.

What vehicles does this fit?

Wrangler TJ, but if you have the stock seats that pull forward it won’t fit...I had to return mine

The Keyed Lock Should Have Been The One In The Image

The image shows cam lock but the one I received had a slotted cylinder lock. I switched out the locks with a proper one and now it is more secure. The box is a beast! The construction gives me peace of mind using it as an in vehicle safe.

Fits great in my '02 wrangler.The only hard part was try to loosen 18 year old bolts holding the seat down.The box and lock are very solid. It will definitely keep out the casual thief. But if they have the right tools and time they are getting in.Q
