Didn’t expect much for $120. I paid almost 10 times that much to add apple carplay to my wife’s car and I alway have issues connecting to it. I have a 2017 Tuntra that didn’t have CarPlay. I wasn’t going to spend $1200 again to have it installed in my truck. Checked the reviews and it was good, so I thought I would try it. This was easy to install and connects everytime I turn the truck on. The only issue I have is, not with the unit but, is the price, which I saw it now going for $66, I paid $120 and two it shows in the description and in the photo that it comes with a memory card, which my didn’t.Hopefully the seller will work with me. So, that’s is the reason I gave it 5 stars. The unit its self is more than what I expected. It’s exactly what Apple car play should look like.

I bought this unit in mid-November 2023 to provide Apple Car Play capability for a Lexus LS460. It worked fine for about three months, but intermittently turned itself off and then restarted. Finally, in early May 2024, it stopped working altogether, and the owners manual has no trouble-shooting suggestions, nor does it provide anything about warranty information. Additionally, the dash mount adhesive is so strong that efforts to remove the mount threatened to damage the dash, so it remains in place. Until it started to act up, the unit worked as advertised. The only functional quibble was that the screen is unreadable with polarized sunglasses.

I got this mainly for backup camera purpose. But this carplay got more than that. It's so much easier to play maps in here than the phone. Also, I just cast my YouTube to this device while waiting in my car. So, enjoying the purchase so far!!

When I opened the package I was surprised to find a very long wire attached to the backup camera. I thought I missed something. I reread the info on Amazon and cannot see anything mentioned about a wired backup camera. In fact the picture of the camera doesn’t show any wire.

Screen mirroring doesn’t work. Other than that everything seems cool

Out of the box, I followed the simple instructions of turning my phone's Bluetooth and WiFi on. I had already paired my phone with the car, so I just needed to pair it with the LAMTTO unit. This went smoothly and the WiFi connection was also set up. I chose to output the sound from the unit using Bluetooth and that was it. The unit was up and running after no more than a couple of a minutes of setup.

Very easy to install. Came with clear instructions in the box. Touchscreen is nice and clear.
