What is the max circumference for upper and lower straps?

Yes, purchasing an extra hot/cold gel pak on Amazon is the most convenient way, ARRIS has a three chamber hot/cold ice pad that should be displayed in the middle of the page, under “customers also viewed these items” when you select TheraPAQ to put in your cart. For my extra ice pack, I used an old gel pack I found up in my freezer but that being said, just to try it, I also put a frozen bag of baby peas in the brace as well. Sounds funny I know, but when your in pain and can’t walk, you have to improvise, frozen baby peas will do the trick in a pinch and the TheraPAQ held them in place nicely.

Can the product be worn without the ice packs?

Yes. The ice packs are separate and are slipped into pockets inside the wrap when needed.

I’ve experienced with other products that the ice packs don’t get that cold. Does your product get really cold?

It did get cold once I left it in the freezer overnight.
