Good quality. Nice Height. Great for the flexibility
Very solidly built. Adjustments are easy enough. It is a bit hard to get it to the smallest possible size because the mold will push back, but once you slide the 2 attached clamps on it’ll hold.It’s also a nice height. The insides of the rings have very clear tick marks for you to adjust to whatever size. It’s in both inches and cm so that’s a nice touch. There are cheaper adjustable cake rings out there, but the quality of Ateco is worth it.I would definitely recommend for casual bakers who don’t want to have a bunch of cake rings but want the flexibility.

Just what I needed
I use metal paper clamps on all 4 sides other wise it will spread open while in oven. Wish it had came with clamps.

I like the 3-inch height
I had to return this cake mold. The minimum size at one end is over 9-1/4 inches, which is puzzling because the mold is thus too wide to accommodate a cake made in a standard 9-inch square cake pan. A divider would eliminate this problem -- but there is no divider! On the plus side: I like the 3-inch height, which is hard to find. (Most of these types of rectangular molds are 2 inches high.)
