Organic Clean Energy Iced Tea Drink by RUNA, Pomegranate | Natural High Caffeine Coffee Alternative | Healthy Energy Boost with No Jitters | Naturally Sweetened, 12 oz (Pack of 12)

I purchased a case of the Pomegranate flavor because I was too impatient to wait for the new flavors to be available for individual purchase in local stores, and based on my enjoyment of the Berry flavor it seemed a safe bet. Below are individual reviews of each of the canned flavors I have tried. I will update as I try the new flavors every couple of months. I'm also including an obnoxious selfie so you know this is an actual human who just gets weirdly excited about RUNA products.Pomegranate: Lightly sweetened. I loved it, and if you enjoy fresh pomegranate, or the pomegranate lollipops you can get at the checkout at Sprouts, you probably will too. My husband even approved, and he is not a fan of any of my herbal or South American teas. 😂Berry: Lightly sweetened. My favorite flavor so far, but it now has a rival in the flavor mentioned above. It's fruity, and not too sweet, with a unique herbal flavor that makes me feel like I'm outside reading under a tree regardless of location. Or I just really enjoy it and think most people who try it will as well. It's a total pick-me-up and a great way to relax since the caffeine found in RUNA is balanced by the effects of theobromine. (This chemical naturally occurs in guayusa and chocolate so think about your love of chocolate and apply that calming boost to this fun iced guayusa tea). Basically, if you're looking to RUNA for a coffee or tea alternative, this is a flavor that I enjoy slowly and am not gulping down for a shot of caffeine. IT'S GOOD!Blood Orange: Unsweetened. This tea smells amazing, so of you like citrus your enjoyment will start before you even take a sip. Because it's unsweetened, it can be a little confusing on the tongue. It's somehow sweet and bitter at the same time, tasting just like a fresh orange but also having a very herbal quality with no sticky sweet aftertaste. I drink it on its own or with a squeeze of lemon when I want a mental boost or mixed with 2 parts tea, 1 part fresh raspberry lemonade when I want something to savor that isn't overly sweet.Lime: Unsweetened. This flavor has a zing to it, and I enjoyed the aromatic effect while drinking it (after the initial shock, as it is bitter) but was left with a headache. Perhaps it was the taste, but this flavor has many fans and I may just be sensitive to lime. This one was almost a bust for me, I would only recommend it if you are into bitter tastes that give you a buzz, which many people are.Happy to answer any questions about RUNA and my experience with their products!Update: I have now tasted all available flavors. Watermelon (unsweetened) is great if you don't expect a watermelon taste, meaning it tastes more like a hint of watermelon with no sweetness. Didn't like it the first time, but the second try the lack of sweetness wasn't surprising and I found I did like it. Mango is the one flavor I definitely do not recommend. I don't think mango combines well with the bitter quality of this tea, it really needs something tangy or sour or sweet (or some combination of those) to make it work. The Pineapple flavor is amazing, it's probably the most sweet/flavorful of all 6 flavors. If you like Pineapple this is the one to try first.

These are great and give you the pick me up you need all while staying organic and healthy for you. Cheaper than buying them at Safeway or other locations. RUNA ROCKS and gives your soul a refreshing rush of good vibes. Namaste.

Not the tastiest

I really enjoyed this energy drink and recommend it.

Hubby was drinking monster energy drinks to stay awake during duty nights and I wanted to find something a little better than those. He really loves the flavor and he said they keep him awake and energized!
