I was hesitant at first because I saw a few bad reviews, BUT the price is about half what it costs to go to a salon for one wax, so I figured I would give it a shot. So, the instructions say to turn the heat up all the way to melt the wax, and then back down to desired temp. I did that and got super nervous because the temperature was not cooling down (which was a concern I had from some reviews). The wax was melted, so I removed the bucket, turned the knob all the way off, unplugged it, and waited like one minute. Set it to 160 and it cooled down to 160 and worked exactly how it should. Its also super easy to use, and the wax is not messy at all. Also it works exactly the same as going to a salon, but saves soooo much money, and honestly it hurts LESS when youre ripping out your own hair. For real. Im super pleased with this product.

Works really well!!! I love it!!! Removes all the hairs so well and leaves you with soft smooth skin. It may cause some redness in some areas, but just ice the area and in just 30 minutes the redness is gone! Comes with popsicle sticks and nose waxes as well!!! Less painful than other waxes. Definitely recommend this!!!

The numbers on the pot itself, and the numbers on the packages sent with it do not match. The different waxes do use the same instructions as what’s in the picture but it doesn’t tell you on the packages..

Loved it. The warmer, wax quality and ease to use is top notch. Tbh i was skeptical but it is a great product and starter wax beads are good too.

Received the wax kit and was super excited to try it out. Noticed that the lid was broken upon delivery, but we decided to go ahead and try it out and we would just try to get a replacement lid later that day. Tried it out and the heat temperature settings were easily set (just remember that after you set it to your temperature, then it will go all the way up, even past the temp you set, then lower back down to your desired temp). The smell of the wax beans was a bit strong without having the lid on it during the melting process, but I guess thats why it comes with a lid, so that wasnt a concern right then. As far as the waxing process goes, it was super easy to use, easy to handle, stuck to hair not skin. It didnt get every single hair there, but thats a given when using hard wax on a larger section like legs. So I just went over one more time in the missed areas and it ended up perfect!As far as replacing the lid, amazon was literally amazing about it. Because we thought we could just get a replacement lid, we had obv already used the waxer. Well they informed me they couldnt just send a lid as it comes in a kit, but they would send me a whole new wax kit, without having to return the other one, so it could still be used while we waited on the new one. All at no charge.So overall the whole process and the waxer itself ended up being great. Would recommend, 10/10, esp for beginners.

Beginner with the wax bead thing. I have done the traditional waxing with strips and hated it. It’s messy, time consuming and just a pain. I was hoping the wax beads would be a lot easier. It is definitely easier but not as great as I had hoped. First, I think the actual warmer is great. It works well and is easy to use. The temperature is easy to adjust and the digital display is easy to read. The quality is decent and it actually looks pretty nice. My only complaint would be that the cord is short. It also has the 3 prong plug with the grounding wire so it can’t be plugged into a standard extension cord.The other thing I realized was that there is definitely a learning curve! It takes a little practice and the hard to reach places can be challenging. The results for me were somewhat disappointing. I suspect part of the problem is the quality of the wax beads. This was my first time using the wax beads so I don’t have anything to compare it to but it did not work as well as I had hoped. It didn’t work on the more stubborn hairs another some of the finer hairs. I found that I would have to do some areas more than once, which is not recommended and even with the second application, there were still a lot that didn’t come out. I wasn’t crazy about the smell either. It was horrible but I wouldn’t say it was pleasant either. I plan to try different wax beads and see if it works better.
