Great value
Great purchase at under ten bucks. Just need them for bad weather and not mountain climbing or whatever, so perfect value proposition for that.

Easy to Put On
These were easy to attach to our shoes. They stretched easily to fit my dad's shoes, were nice and secure. The small cleats appear to be a little small or flimsy for harder/impacted ice, and my collapse onto themselves, but the short distances we went they worked fine. They created some good stability. Overall, these will help during winter when we just need to do things around the outside of the house or on the driveway.

More Rubber Nubs than real Ice Cleats to me.
I think it's good sometimes to not have instructions and just try to figure it out 'cause I WAY misunderstood that whole velcro strap thing! Looking back at the ad, that's supposed to be a heal strap (not over the middle of your foot, dumb-dumb. Boy am I stupid sometimes!).Moving on..... I don't think the strap is needed. I ordered the size XX-Large (fits 8.5-12 shoes per their chart). Their chart is correct in my mind. These fit snuggly over my size 12 tennies and Merril hiking boots. Took a little walk around the backyard and they held tight - didn't slip off. So for that part they get a plus(+).My mind gives a minus(-) when it comes to the spikes. There's nothing on here that I'd really term a real "cleat". These feel more like ice nubs - like something hockey medical crews might wear to get traction without damaging the ice. Quick walk in the yard and there wasn't hardly a blade of grass stuck underneath let alone mud or anything else. I'll try them out come the first snow, but I'm not holding my breath for high performance. They kinda give me more of a "false sense" of security feel than a die hard "holy hell these'll bolt me down in a hurricane" feel. So we'll see.....They did clean up nice. Quick rinse in the sink and laid out on a towel. 30 minutes to dry. Had to flip twice and eventually towel off the rubber, but they cleaned up relatively easy. These will probably work and I just don't know. They're my first pair of anything crampons like. Time will tell this winter when we try them out. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Update on ice - These work great!
UPDATE. I went for a 30 minute hike on a very icy trail. These worked great! No slipping. Importantly - they don't show any signs of wear. I wore them with the Velcro strap used as pictured in my photos. Highly recommended.I got the XX-Large which are for men's shoes sizes 8.5-12. I've included photos of these on my size 11.5 Merrill hiking shoes, and my size 12 Columbia insulated boots. The crampons go on easily, without significant stretching, and are very secure. I won't need to use the straps to keep these on, the way shown in the product photos. There's a gap in the middle where the rubber doesn't touch the boots and I don't want that getting caught on anything, or rubbing on things and wearing out. The straps can be used to close that. See my photos. I walked around on these on carpet and in the grass, and the shoes are balanced fine. I will trying these on the forest trails I hike near where I live when it gets icy, which could be anytime now here in the northeastern USA. There are hilly areas and this type of item is essential. The spikes should work fine and they should hold up. I will update this review after the ice arrives.

Work well in snow and ice. Sturdy and good quality!
The ice cleats fit my women’s size 11 tennis shoe perfectly and I order the XXL. The metal prongs on the bottom of the ice cleats are small at 1/8 inch long. On the rubber slip over there are 6 cleats on the ball of the foot area and 4 cleats on the heel of your foot. They are circular which is good because they help dig in if you turn so you don’t fall. The circular design also works at multiple angles at once so you get better traction overall. Because the cleats do not stick out very far they work better in snow or ice but not in mud.The cleats are strong and hold up when standing on a wooden, tile or even concrete floor. They held my body weight without bending and seemed very sturdy. The rubber base helps with traction as well and is very flexible when stretching to fit your shoe. I am not 100% sure the right way to put the strap on but I looped it through the back part and then wrapped it around my ankle and fastened the velcro, which seemed to work ok. They do come with a pull string bag that you can store them in to ensure you keep them together, which is a nice plus.I like them and I think they make it safer to move around outside when there is snow or ice. I am new to ice cleats but these seem to be well made and high quality especially with how well the cleats are fastened to the rubber base and how durable the cleats are. I would recommend them!
