It has everything it says on the paper back. It would have got five stars if it had covered some things in a little more detail for me, such as it shows some basic aerials but I'd have liked just some more information on fixing coax to wire aerials and similiar stuff. But then I'm a total beginner to ham radio, so maybe I expected a little too much.That said it is a good book and covers every subject you need.

A book worth getting and definitely worth reading!
If you're keen to experiment and get results from some really basic gear this is definitely the book for you, I was gripped from the moment I picked it up and keep going back over the pages! It has ideas and projects to suit the most basic of beginners to the hobby with little or know real knowledge but a quest to learn and experiment!
