not the best version
Corpus Hermeticum is a text attributed to Hermes Trismegistos, found in Alexandria in the early CE. This collection contains the 13 books found before the Nag Hamadi and Dead Sea scrolls were discovered and has inspired many great thinkers, philosophers and scientists alike throughout the ages.Anyone interested in ancient religion, mysticsim, philosophy, esotheric theachings, and ancient thinking should read these dialogs as there are many interesting notions that are revealed, and many which have of late started to make more and more sense from a scientific standpoint. This OMTO updated version of the Corpus Hermeticum however suffers from being an updated transltion of a translation. I find that the efforts in trying to keep with the translation initially made by G.RS Mead has made the reading experience less fluent. This also devalues the beautiful alegorical style which it has been written in originally, as well as it might confuse you when trying to decipher the meaning. If you are familiar with the writing style of old English I'd recommend you read the original translation rather than this one. Or go toΒ The Hermetica: The Lost Wisdom of the Pharaohs Β or toΒ Hermetica: The Greek Corpus Hermeticum and the Latin Asclepius in a New English Translation, with Notes and Introduction Β which has proved to me to be of better quality when it comes to the translations and explanations.Hope this helps you make your own choice and wish you luck in gaining more knowledge!

Ok
A very small book but quite hard work as the text is old and needs some time to get used to.
