I am in agreement with with the positive reviewers in that, if you have problems starting the unit, READ the instructions…it tells you EXACTLY how to prep and start - hold it as they instruct when starting the engine - if you can’t start after 3 tries on full choke, move the lever to half choke and it will start -As far as the unit itself, I think it’s light as far as handheld blowers go - I will say that it is almost as powerful as my shroder backpack blower, which I also bought here - I’m confident I’ll get a lot of use out of it and the price I thought was greatUPDATE: blower quit after 5 mins of use - let it cool the restarted - 5 mins - obviously carb issueContacted Poulan pro cust service - all outsourced and no clue technically - I’m stuck with a brand new defective device which I cannot return and need to send to a repair shopAmazon, however, is helping to make things right by being in my cornerPoulan is a loser, but I love Amazon

It makes my life a little easier and the noise frustrates the neighbors because it's loud. Everyone should be out of bed by 6 a.m. Grumpy old men should be happy with this sucker.

I bought this product in fall of 2020. The ratings and power were attractive and it has a 2 year warranty. You are going to need that warranty!!! It ran for 2 uses at about 20 minutes apiece before issues started. The engine is very rough and does not have a smooth idle making you think it is cosntantly going to conk out(which it does with consistency). Seems like there is an issue with the gas/air flow mixture. This is tough to even start, full choke half choke no choke, it just didn't; want to run. Disgusted, I raked the leaves and put it away for the winter. In the spring I called the company regarding the warranty and was told to take it to any local dealer. The first dealer I called said that they would not work on them because it wasn't worth the time and they they were "garbage". I called the company back to relate the experience (thinking that like Ryobi, they would just replace it). Nope, they found a dealer further away in the next town who agreed to work on it. When I got it back I asked him what the issue was and he said they are very temperamental with regard to the gas you use. So I made sure that I used the same gas as it was supposedly calibrated for and guess what?. It still hems and haws, it doesn't seem to matter how much you choke it, you just can't seem to get it to stay running and to run smoothly with out bogging down and conking out. This was my third attempt to use it since it was "fixed" and I wound up not being able to use it again. I am not going to take this to a repair shop every other use. It ran like garbage pretty much out of the box, repairs/tune ups don't last more than a use or two and I just can't see bringing this back to the dealer to work on it every time I want to use it for some minor job. Sad because I have their chainsaw and that thing runs like a champ

machine blows good and strong but feels heavy, arm gets tired after while had a different brand before was nice and lite compared to this one.

Great blower. Cranks easy if you take time to RTFM. Looks like Darth Vader so embrace the power and vanish the leaves and what not. It runs circles around it's half brother the Husqvarna 125B for a lot less money. It's just great to spend money on something that does exactly what it is supposed to do.

First, let me say in light of the few negative comments here concerning this product that the individuals making said comments either haven't actually used it or brute strength of it somehow offended them and they shouldn't be handling power tools OR commenting on them.The AMAZON delivery was on time and in perfect condition in the original box. I mixed the fuel/oil according to the manufacturer's instructions, pushed the primer ten times according to the instructions, pulled the cord three times according to the instructions and it started up immediately. This Poulan Pro is a beast. I finished my forest edged yard in 45 minutes. My previous blower took me 2+ hours to do the same job. The only question it leaves me with is this. Did you negative commentors read the instructions?I very highly recommend this blower.

I had this from 2019-2024. From the day I got it, it was always difficult to start and always ran rough. Finally, it stopped running recently. I suppose it might have needed a carb cleaning, but wasn't worth trying to fix. I only used it at my private home, so it was not used a lot and was treated well - maybe every week or 2 during the lawn-mowing months in Oklahoma and I would start it a couple times during winter to keep it from gumming up.While this will work, I think there are better options that start and run better. I am going to try the Ryobi Gas Jet Blower next.
