Very nice handy tool. Powerful
Great product right out of the box. Added a 60 grit flap disc and went right to work sharping my mower deck blades. Work better that i expected. I would like to try more of there products and review them as well

Mine is defective, caution on purchasing
So my tool didn't last a day. I purchased it for a fence project, needed to cut and grind some cement at the foundation so I could install posts for a fence against a concrete foundation slab. For the first area I needed it at, it worked. Seemed to have good power and it did the job. Once I cleared the excess concrete I dug a post hole and moved on. Starting at the second hole the grinder seemed to cut in and out. Neve fully quitting, just like a hiccup. I thought maybe it was my battery, but also thought it was too quick to die. But I got another battery and it persisted. Still, I got the second hole done. At the third hole....it just flat would die in the middle of cutting with a diamond blade or grinding with a grinding cup. If I put the tool down and then tried again, it would work for a bit then die. So I tried another battery and same thing. Eventually, it got to the point that after quitting I couldn't even restart it. It wouldn't start. I have like 8 batteries in my Makita 18V arsenal, none changed the outcome. I thought maybe it was overheating, but even after letting it sit the same problems persisted. I had a 50-50 chance it would start, and then a 50-50 chance it woudl continue longer than 30 seconds - about as much time as it took me to get back into the hold was digging and find where I left off. Very frustrating. So I stopped using it, went to my local big-box tool store, and bought a corded Metabo grinder. I felt the Metabo was about the same weight, maybe a tiny bit more powerful, but most importantly, it didn't die on me once at all. Kept going with the same wheels and cups, no problems. So I am returning mine and cautioning you against buying. The tool itself, when it worked, was fine. Seemed well built. Decent balance. The safety ring/spark guard wasn't the best fitting but the guard worked. Seemed the corded replacement tool I bought from local big box store may have had a bit more power, but not enough to make a big difference since like I said, for the brief time this tool worked, it did its job fine. Just probably a defective trigger mechanism?

Good for lite work
Seems like a good product although some of the screws were not tightened all the way, I don't use these tools to make my living it's good for my home shop were I do lite duty work. This is not a heavy duty tool but works good with the makita 18 volt 4 ah. Batteries plenty of power and the 3 speeds are handy great value for the money however if you need a grinder for continuous all day use this is NOT the tool its definitely lite duty. Its definitely a throw away tool when the return window is over there is no manufacturer or. Supplier on the box or instructions.

Don’t waste your money.
This thing is awesome until you actually try to use it. It’s nice that it has adjustable speed, and that’s about the only nice thing about it. When I try to grind with it, if I put any more pressure on it that the weight of the grinder it shuts off. After about 3 times of sitting off I had to reinstall the battery. Shoot, just holding it in the air and pull the trigger it will only run for about 10 seconds before shutting off. I guess I’ll try a real makita grinder since the knockoff is absolute garbage.
