Fine Lightweight Dressing Gown at a Cheap Price
Looking at the reviews written by the 'less enamoured', I don't understand why people expect more at £12.65. If you want a 100% cotton version then don't be a numpty and buy a grey one, buy the navy which is 100% cotton. Yes, it 'stinks' of chemicals when it arrives, pop it into the washing-machine at 30C and the smell goes. Want to shrink it so you can then write an Amazon review complaining it shrank, wash it at no more than 40C. Is this stuff so difficult to get right? Not happy with the quality? Go to M & S or John Lewis and pay much more, your choice, no?EDIT 24 November 2018: I ordered a John Lewis own brand midweight dressing gown at the same time. Yes, it's very obviously in a different league BUT so was its price at £65! That's 5 x the £12.65 I paid for lightweight dressing gown, both ar 100% cotton and whilst the JL DG doesn't 'stink' on arrival, it also needs an initial wash to rid it of manufacture smell.

Exactly what I needed.
Exactly what I wanted and expected - a lightweight knee length cotton dressing gown. Nothing flashy or exceptional, but entirely suitable for purpose: I've been spending a few nights in hospital every few weeks and my towelling bath robe is too heavy and bulky for summer, this is perfect.Size M fits me - 38" chest, slight build, 5' 10" - very well.

Totally Pleased
I'm totally pleased with this. I bought it - like so many others! - to fit in an overnight bag for a hospital excursion, because my usual towelling dressing gown would just about need a suitcase on its own. It looks smart and seems good quality, I would like a red and yellow dragon embroidered on the back but you can't have everything. For info, height is 6 feet and I'm 16.5 stone. The XXL size is fine for me.

Very lightweight 100% Cotton Ideal For Travelling
Like others I bought this for a stay in hospital and wanted something light and portable, this fits the bill perfectly. It folds up into a small very portable bundle, weighs 409 grams on the kitchen scales and the solid blue one was 100% cotton. The 'solid blue' is more of a lighter navy colour, not dark navy as depicted int the pictures.I washed first to remove any factory smells and is very soft and smooth to touch.

My husband is difficult to please as far as clothes go but he loves this dressing gown and it does look really good. It is well made and the fit is perfect for him (he is a 35 inch waist), with sleeves the right length and the proportions and overlap of the robe well designed. So we're very pleased.

Good value
Navy with grey edging version, label says 100% cotton some colourways are apparently polycotton. Husband had to go into hospital and no simple lightweight wraps to be found anywhere in shops. This is ideal to pack for holiday use too. No bulky collar and a decent length. Only improvement, purely for hospital purposes, would be a slightly wider/shorter sleeve for ease of getting over a canula. He is a smallish 40” chest but he went for the large rather than medium (tried both) to get a bit more wrapover and to allow for shrinkage, though I don’t think that has happened. Excellent value for money. M&S/Supermarket clothing depts missing a trick.

Lightweight & breathable
I purchased this for a hospital stay and for that it's perfect. It's not thick and it's not towelling or fleece. It's cotton and is breathable both of which were selling points for me. More loungewear than bedroom gown. I'm quite a big guy, 6ft and weighing as much as the heaviest forward in the England rugby team but I'm glad I ordered the triple x size. Anything smaller and it would have been uncomfortable. So for price comfort material and size it's four stars.

Money well spent.
Bought this for a hospital stay. Hubby is 6ft and 40" waist. Wraps well around him and ties with the belt at the front. It's a T-shirt weight fabric in a lovely dark navy colour and washes well. I didn't tumble dry, just popped on a hanger and it was dry overnight. Chose this size due to another reviewer recommending this size for his build, he was right.
