High quality, professional, and well designed glue gun
The media could not be loaded. I don’t write many product reviews, but this one deserves it. Here goes:1. Packaging was very nice, much better than the generic box or plastic bag many products come in these days2. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Body of the gun is molded in a high-quality 2-tone plastic with a nice dimpled texture3. Feels really strong and durable, yet it’s nice and light. Should be easy to work with for long periods of time4. Base stand is COOL! And it works really well. Works 10x better than those flimsy little wire stands which constantly fall over. This gun comes with a wire stand too if you prefer, but I like the base stand5. Temperature is just right; not too hot, not too cold6. Glue flow is perfect; nice and steady, and you don’t have squeeze the trigger super-hard eitherSo overall this is a top quality glue gun. You won’t be disappointed. Hope this helps:)

I though
When I first open the package I noticed how lightweight it was. I thought Oh geez, it’s cheap. To my surprise, it’s not cheap. It gets hot in a reasonable amount of time, and it’s not hot on the outside, like my old one. My old glue gun you had to really pull the trigger to get the glue to come out so when I pulled the trigger, let me tell you it ate that first glue stick. This thing is so effective it’s streams glue. I really wasn’t expecting to be that effective. I’m very happy with my purchase. The one thing I would modify is make a heavier Base stand. It’s stable, but it can be knocked over quite easily. That’s just a small thing. Nothing that would make me return it. If anything changes, I will update.Update: the nozzle is so bulky I can’t precisely put glue where I need it. It’s kind of like best effort guess. ( to be fair lost depth perception in left eye due to medical reasons) I kind of need slightly more control that I can’t get with this. The gun started to drip as well. Customer service responded in 3 days but by that time I had returned the gun.I’m sorry I wanted to love this gun and I do, but personally I can’t use it for precision applications :(

Nice upgrade from minis
This full-size hot glue gun has been a great upgrade from the mini ones I usually use. It heats up quickly, and the glue flows fast—perfect for tackling bigger projects. The larger glue sticks are a huge plus since I don’t have to keep reloading as often. The gun is well-balanced and stands upright without any wobbling, making it super convenient during use. It feels solid and comfortable in hand. I'll be leaving the minis to my kids for their projects and be sticking with this one from now on.

Nice glue gun... recommend
The media could not be loaded. Got my new glue gun today.. which I needed badly. It was an Amazon prime day deal, but even at regular price I would recommend it. I needed something more heavy duty than the little gun I had, and this fits the bill perfectly. I was surprised how light it was. I thought it would be heavier. But after using it, I like that it isn't as heavy as I had anticipated. Instructions say it takes 3-5 to heat up, but it was much closer to 3. Glue flows cleanly and evenly. It included 12 good quality high temp glue sticks, 2 different stands (one kick stand, the other a wide base) and a very humorous instruction sheet. Only down side I find, is that there is no on/off button or hot indicator light, but since I always unplug it between uses and have a save shelf for it after I am done, it's not a deal breaker... just would be a nice touch. Highly recommend this gun and this brand.

great kit, but quite large
this is a great hot glue kit, appears it would be quite versatile. However, it's just too large for my needs. The glue sticks are much larger in diameter than I expected, my bad. Again, great price and looks like it functions great-- for large projects.

As good as it gets for the price, but glue that base on! && Consider the new 100 watt one instead!
TLDR: It's a good glue gun with a unique stand. A year and a couple dozen uses and still no problems. However, now there is a "pro" version for $2 more that advertises 40 additional watts. I'd probably go for that one and get the surely faster warm-up times (link below). The good thing is that you have the option of which stand you prefer. You can use the extra-large base and the fold out rest at the same time, if you'd like--which parks the gun at a sharper angle, if that makes sense. Alternatively, you can remove the base, and simply use fold out rest alone (thus making it like 99% of other glue guns.) And naturally, you can simply stand it on its base, which I greatly prefer.I've used some other el cheapo models, and haven't had the best luck. This one seems very good for the price. It heats up relatively quickly (< 5 minutes), and while the plastic feels somewhat cheap in comparison to my mom's 30 year old gun (that thing's a tank), it's still pretty high quality. The stand is an awesome upside, but take care to glue it on if you don't want to lose it! It doesn't come off easily, but through the process of being bumped around and placed in-and-out of storage, it's come off a few times. (Unfortunately, mine is currently NOT with the gun, but when I find it again, some it will be epoxied to the bottom.)Since purchasing it, the a 100 watt "pro" model has been released. This should significantly enhance warm up times over this model's 60 watts. Given that it's roughly the same price, I'd probably buy that one instead.https://www.amazon.com/Chandler-Tool-Commercial-Glue-Gun/dp/B07FN4LNWJ/In any case, fear not about ordering. After a year and a few dozen uses, it's still a good hot glue gun.
