Great, esp for taking abroad
Took this with us to visit family in South Africa. Great travel cot.Folds really quite small and is thin and light to fit into sour case easily. Pops up when at other size, really quick and simple. And the mattress is a little air one that you pulled the topper open and inflated but we also blew it up by mouth a little too so it was softer.Nice and comfortable. The zipped net was handy to protect baby from Mosquitos and other bugs.Took it camping with us over there. Little man (1yr old exactly) slept in it fine. We were really happy with him being in there. He was nice and safe. Also would be handy to take to beach or use in garden as UV protected too and folds into a small circular bag (easy to fold down too) and so easy to carry places.I would recommend to friends. Not just for travelling abroad, I really think this mattress is more comfortable than the usual travel cot mattress where you can normally feel the poles supporting the base through it. Might be a bit chillier as it's on the floor though. But overall, really chuffed with this and glad we bought it.

excellent product
Small/light when travelling, really easy to put up, our 3 month old slept brilliantly in it. Was a little worried about draughts having it on the floor but was reassured they were kept out by putting his room thermometer in it for a while to check. Self inflating mattress great, whole thing takes about 3 minutes to set up. Equally quick to repack - once you get the hang of it. Instructions both written, pictoral and video on nseccity website are really hard to follow, in the end I worked it out more by accident than anything. Take care as if you bend the wires I suspect you could damage it, you can feel when folding down correctly, it goes easily and needs only slight force and sort of springs into being folded down. I was worried buying the larger one straight away was a mistake but am glad I did as our son really likes to spread out and the extra space does no harm. I guess if I was flying with it I would've bought the smaller one but this really is small folded up, only really the size of an average supermarket shopping carrier bag! Would definately reccomed this product.

This product failed us big time.
We took our travel centre on holiday to South Africa to use while on Safari. We used it several times in the UK and it worked well. However on leaving Kruger park we could not fold the tent using the instructions, something had failed in the workings! This meant we had to leave the tent behind causing us a lot of trouble finding a bed for our baby for the rest of our holiday. Safetots who supplied this product refused to help once we had returned so we contacted NScessity the manufacturer. They insisted that the problem was down to our misuse and refused to replace the tent. So customer service was nil and the tent lost in South Africa. Don't waste your money - buy a travel cot from Mothercare!!

Fab product, few flaws but best travel cot out there
I did lots of research about travel cots before buying this one. We wanted one that was lightweight as it would be added weight in flight luggage. This cot was perfect. Pops up super easy, the mattress is really easy to inflate (few extra puffs and it's nice and soft) and the whole thing fitted into the suitcase. We did have a little concern that the padded sheet that comes with it just velcros on at either end and is just loose around the rest of it. This meant our inquisitive 8 month old spent ages lifting up the sheet and would end up falling asleep with it all wrapped round him. We did sort it with a few safety pins...not something I'd really want to put in a bed with a baby but we had no other options. Also, as with normal tents, if the doors are done up it becomes a little oven in there which was a bit of a worry. However, we found that so long as the mosquito nets were zipped down and the doors were tied back it wasn't too bad. Was nice that he could be fully secure and there was no place for bugs to get in.All in all we were very happy with this product. The consumer...our little man...slept like a dream in it. Was big enough for him to have a crawl about before dropping off. Also, found it really easy to fold!

Good product, but our son hates it.....
I gave this 3 stars because I think the product's good (apart from the incomprehensible diagrams on how to fold it down - eventually, after a bit of swearing, you get the hang of it) but unfortunately our one year old will not go to sleep in it. It's so unlike his normal cot & he gets freaked out by the fact that he's completely enclosed. I guess some babies love something different and others find it very disorienting. Sadly, ours is the latter. So if your baby will sleep in this, it's a great product - compact, lightweight and extremely easy to assemble. We, on the other hand, are now looking for a regular travel cot on eBay!

Great for home and whilst travelling
The travel centre was a nice large size, so will last my son who is one, a few more years. It is warm inside (perhaps a little too warm in the summer). You can cover the shades, making it nice and dark inside, helping baby sleep.Would certainly recommed it to anyone!

Superb easy to use bed
I bought this specifically to use as a day time travel bed. It is fantastic, so easy to set up and I like the fact when it's zipped up my son can't get out. I would suggest trying to fold it down before need to take it somewhere as once you know how it's really easy (takes me less than 20 seconds to put away), but my drunk husband and his friend moved all the poles round inside the tent the first time. There are photo links online that explain it easier than the instructions. It packs really small and light compared to taking a play pen. Easily accepted as hand luggage on a flight and very useful for nap at the airport. I had many comments asking me where I bought it from.I will also be using it at the beach as sun protection and somewhere safe and comfy to nap.Money well spent, it has and will get a lot of use.
