I used the measurement guide to pick my size. I found that the jacket is a little too tight around my stomach. I can zip it but it’s tight. Overall the jacket is of excellent quality.

I was expecting to be disappointed having been issued a Navy flight jacket many years ago that one of my sons "lost". Just opened and tried on. Was not disappointed. Was as good if not better quality than was issued and certainly a better fit since I am 6' 3". My original jacket was one of the most wearable and comfortable jackets ever owned in all kinds of weather and temperatures. J. C.

Without a doubt, this is THE sexiest piece of clothing that I have ever purchased!It fits like a glove (I am 6'2", 260 with my height in my torso), smells wonderful, has serious heft, gorgeous collar, total quality construction, warm as *bleep*. I am actually looking forward to cold weather! (Well, maybe not, but ...)Last year, I purchased two leather jackets from other sources and returned both: light weight, poor construction. I will be wearing this gem for years!

I'm pleasantly surprised at the outstanding quality of this jacket....regardless of where it is made. People tout for American made aviation jacket as a top tier original, and all foreign made replicas are not original with subpar quality. With that in mind, I tried several American made aviation jackets and has been really disappointed with the quality until I bought this one. At a price that is almost half of what American made jackets cost, but it is heads and shoulders above in both quality and fitting.Leather jackets can deviate a lot in quality even from the same batch and finding a well made jacket to my liking is a hit or miss experience. I have to call a spade a spade and this jacket shows the quality, color, as well as fitting that I like.Another factor that I rewarded the jacket 5 stars is the outstanding support that the seller shows. Due to the Covid-19 problem and after waiting for it to show up which it never did, I got in touch with the seller and they immediately ship another one out to me. Mind you, this is not your normal cheap garment that you can easily write it off and yet the seller ship out another one to me right away.

This jacket is an excellent buy. The fit is very good, and the quality is excellent. When I ordered this coat, based on some of the previous comments, I was concerned about the size and whether it would fit. I am 5' 7", 42 inch chest, 34 inch waist, and weigh 180 lbs. The medium size fits me perfectly! I wear a size 16-32/33 shirt and the sleeves on this coat are a perfect length.The goatskin is soft and supple, but it is not as soft as a lambskin coat that I also have. The feel of the leather is terrific. The fur collar also has a great feel. The snaps that are used to remove the collar are hidden well, although I have not tried to remove the collar yet. On several occasions I have turned the collar up for warmth and it felt great.It took me a while to get used to the side entry pockets. They are pretty far to the side of the coat, but now that the leather has been 'broken in' it is getting easier to get my hands in them. The interior pocket is perfect for a cell phone and it is deep enough that there is no danger of the phone falling out. The location of the pocket is also perfect; it is very convenient to put a phone in or out of the pocket.The insulation in the coat is a type of thin fiber fill. I have been using the coat with the temperatures in the thirties with a good breeze blowing, and the warmth is excellent. All in all, I am very, very pleased with this leather jacket. For the price it can't be beat!

Whatever you do dont buy this jacket!!I would give 0 stars if I could.It is advertised as "goatskin leather" but I own goatskin leather jackets and they are hefty and smell like leather.This jacket however smelled like plastic and was extremely lightweight...I own a 50 dollar pleather jacket that smells exactly the same and is just as lightweight, so its safe to assume that this ISNT a leather product.I repeat, THIS IS NOT LEATHER.The fun doesnt stop there, within a month of casual wear the inner lining had fallen apart and the pockets started to develop holes.This thing is obviously a shoddy and cheap attempt at a G1 jacket, ive owned G1s for years and even they dont have holes and tears in the inner lining and pockets.I cant even begin to explain the rage and dissapointment that I feel, I honestly feel that my money has been stolen and that ive been made a fool out of.Made in China, save your money and your peace of mind...BEWARE.

This jacket, so far, is great. I am 5-10, 235, somewhat barrel chested with big shoulders. I was having a hard time finding a leather flight jacket that fit over my chest and arms comfortably. Now, I normally wear an XL, but I couldn't even find flight jackets in XXL that fit comfortably. I purchased a XXL flight jacket from Wilsons.com and I could barely move my arms. I had the same problem with XXLs that I tried at various department stores. I read good reviews of this jacket, so I gave it a try in size XXL. It is the most comfortable jacket by far and I'm very happy with my purchase. It is light and easy to move around in, yet with the thinsulate, it is very warm. The zipper feels solid. The fur collar detaches easily but adds to the warmth and style. The jacket is listed as being goat leather, which is supposed to be very durable, but I cannot confirm this because the jacket label merely states 100% leather. It is definitely not lamb though, I can at least say that much. My only criticism would be that the pockets are too shallow; they are barely big enough to fit my hands inside. But otherwise, I anticipate that this jacket will keep me warm and comfortable for a long time.
