Awesome boots
I read good reviews of these boots so decided to see what they were like, they arrived today. They're well made and very stylish. Smart enough to wear to work or on days off. They are really light and comfy. Grip is good and they're easy to put on. I've tried them in the rain already and they're waterproof. I've had them a day so can't say how well they'll wear but they feel pretty durable. First impressions are very good indeed

Good value hiking shoes
Pros: Very comfortable out of the box and good grip. They seem to be good quality, with proper stitching and not glued. Good value. They are also waterproof which I've tested out on some flooded paths, as long as the water is not too deep or it will come through the top.Cons: Only downsides for me were that the ankle support was maybe not quite as good as expected, they look like hiking boots but are more like hiking shoes/trainers as not very high, and the styling could be better.Overall I am giving them 5 stars just because after nearly a year of using them constantly they are still going strong, whereas many other hiking shoes I've had at this price have fallen apart in that time, and the pros outweigh the cons.

Real quality & comfort at a very fair price
Credit where credit's due. Columbia are becoming my go to for quality and fit at a value for money price.I bought these boots as I had a pair of the low rise Peakfreaks which are over 2 years old and still going strong even after very regular wear and tear. The boots have the same larger toe box as the shoes which suits my feet (I have Moretons Neuroma in right foot) and are super comfortable from the outset. I buy a half size larger to allow for an additional charcoal footpad. They are well grippy on rocky, muddy terrain and fairly lightweight plus fully waterproof so far. Using mainly for general hiking and hillwalking but reckon they'll fare well on easier scrambles as well. Can't really fault Columbia on their all round high standard of build so would highly recommend. Beats some brands that are twice the price!

First class pair of walking boots
I am a dog walker by trade. I regularly clock up over sixty miles a week exercising my canine charges. One of the most essential pieces of kit in my occupation is a decent pair of walking boots. I have purchased other Columbia brand items of footwear before, and the consistency of their products is very impressive. These boots are lightweight, yet paradoxically feel hard-wearing, fit well without pinching, have good, grippy soles thst cope well with any type of terrain, and most importantly of all are 100% waterproof. As I said before, I have tried other Columbia footwear, and none have so far been found wanting. I am happy to recommend these boots, and I am sure that I will buy other products in their range.

Great Hiking Shoes
So far great shoes, no sign of wear after a really long hike. They are super comfortable but I did go a size up which I'm thankful for. Great at this price point.

Comfortable boots
I bought these boots for dog walking on the winter. They were comfortable out of the box and have been excellent, warm and waterproof. True to size.

Bought for my first Wainwright's walk
Bought for my first Wainwright's walk in the Lake District, so didn't want to spend a fortune on a pair. Light, comfy and help up well in the weather. No blisters at the end of 12.5 miles either, which was a bonus.
